I was searching around for some ideas on making a custom game console cabinet, as there are way too many consoles in the house and found this. All I can say is holy shit, I want this room. http://pseudomacro.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/petes-collection/

The family chipped in together and got me the Spyder Gaming chair for XMAS. It's so legit lol... was like 300$ bones. It's still back home but when I PCS I will pick it up! :)

I play in a leather Glider chair that can swivel. I used to build custom enclosures for gamers and home theatre enthusiasts. It was good money and we even had AC rack systems installed or at the least the silent fans and backup apc power conditioners. I use a power conditioner in my setup.

Back when I used to be in charge of the audio and visual at my church I would plug my xbox in the main projector and play halo 2 with my friends.

This seems like it would be too big of a screen for me... 32" seems to be just right for me... As for the chair... I saw your post about your chair Jared hows it working out for you?

Don't have it yet bro. I PCS next month so I'll pick it up on my way to Texas hopefully.

I play on a 50 inch plasma and sit like 5-6 ft away. Might be why my k/d is low. I have surround sound for most games, but COD is almost always my headphones.

I'm the same way. Large screens mess with my eyes when gaming.

I love playing on my 47". But I'm also 10-12 feet away from the TV.

I used to have one of those gaming chairs, but since it didn't have a stand I had to get rid of it. I'm a bit too old to be sitting about 5 inches above the floor. Especially when it comes time to either sit down or get up. Plus it was wired, which blew chunks.

Yeah I used to have one that sat on the floor. The new one has a stand. Muchhhh better.

Ya the ones with stands look much better... I keep my tv audio all the way off so I can keep the game just to myself lol so a chair with speakers isn't necessary...

With 4 person split screen it worked out alright and it was allot easier to thread the needle on sniper shots especially. I play on a 43' plasma now and its really nice I dont have to squint to see if what im shooting at is a person or a human shaped rock.
