"You 2 are everything that's wrong with 'geeks' and 'gamers' these days. You choose what the hobby means to you and then anyone who doesn't conform to your definition isn't aloud to be a part of the group. YOU are not real gamers or real geeks. A real geek/gamer knows what it's like to be bullied for not fitting the social norm and welcomes everyone from all preferred categories within the culture. Whether that be a female anime cosplayer or a male BF3 player. U are no better then school bullies."

I have to agree with her, these 2 are basically the guys in this industry that dont want women in the gaming scene. They believe it should be male dominate and no girl should be allowed in it. I think its just down right wrong, hell we have females in this community that are avid gamers by heart, Aresx, Bull3t, LadyM, md Femme, and MadxBiologist, just to name a few well known here in the community. Hell i think one of these 4 can vouch that women in the gaming industry are a force to be reconed with. We even have female gamers who are world champions in tournaments. Now i must say when im playing BF3 or LoL and i die to a gamer who i find out is a female, i do feel a sense of shame becuz i lost to a girl but at the same time i give her mad props for even getting me becuz she has skill, or maybe luck. But its time that guys like these 2 get their heads out of their 3rd point of contact and start realizing this industry has a growing female base and they are becomeing a force to be aware of.

These guys are idiots I can guarantee that most gamers enjoy games like skyrim simply because they dont have to listen to the 10 yr old kids yelling fuck and cock in every sentence. Besides any girl who can kick my ass in video games that Im good at is pretty cool to me. :heh: It makes me play harder than anything else, any girl that can game or shoot better than me is great in my book. These guys are just pissed because they cant get a girl themselves.

How old are these assholes? They act like they know what old games were actually like. I remember the first RPG I played. It was for Commodore 64 and it was called Bard's Tale. You didn't get maps. You barely got a moving picture and there weren't many. If you wanted a map, you took some graph paper and made your own damn maps. You got a huge book of spells that you wouldn't even use. Everything was text based as well. I love how they act like they know how games had it rough 20 years ago.
