That is complete bull shit. And the sad thing is that even if he is console banned he will be back. Short of name or credit card banning there isn't much that can be done and even then that isn't effective. Unless they're trying to make him go broke buying system after system.

Agreed. They need to ban everyone that uses them. My stepson found out the hard way that the "boosting" he thought was cool that he did with all of his little friend earned his a "Cheater" tag on Xbox Live. As far as I know this is something that can be seen by anyone that views his profile online. I just laughed at him and said, "See, I told you that you would get get busted."

Another thought on what to do. Have Microsoft or Treyarch/Activision IP ban these cheaters. It has been done before so why not for these cheaters?
You can request a change of IP from your ISP. Unless they block your provider multiple isp

I have static for one ISP and dynamic for the other. Then my firewall routes particular traffic to the different isp's. I don't understand how I can't host or get a good connection with 35 mb just for Xbox

It's the way bops was made I searched how to force host and it showed that the person with the worst connection gets host...

Bf has built in bandwidth restrictions so if you lag a couple times... Bam your gone!

I wish COD that shit. Get rid of all those with lag issues. I hate having a jacked up connection cause they are host of a lobby. I just don't understand how someone with a poor connection gets host. WTF over!

Well, that too, but I was talking more about the fact it's a server-based game. So if you lag-switch, you will appear to be stationary to everyone else, and you'll only hurt yourself. So not only would you get kicked if you lag-switched, you'd never kill anyone.

Not gonna happen until they go back to dedicated servers...or decide to sell servers like BF3. Or there's such a backlash it hits their pocketbook. Until then, this is cheaper.

Exactly. How does HALO do it? They have local hosted-games, right? I don't have near the problem there on the lag end.

Halo's lag coding, matchmaking, and acceptable lag limits are all better than CoD's. Only thing I can think of.

When did they change? I don't think the change caused the increase in sales. I think that was just incidental.

The change didn't cause it.....there was just no major fall in sales, regardless of the complaints. Instead, sales increased. You save money, and make even more in the meantime.....what's the point in switching back?

I think sales increasing was incidental, but you're right that they have no incentive to switch back.

Caught myself a lag switch bitch tonight (CanadianHoney4...BTW it is a dude...WTF) and saved the video. Does anyone know how to report and submit the clip to get them console or IP banned?
Went back and looked at his history and he was 0-8, 5-20, 1,16, 7-23, etc for 16 matches then all the sudden 70-10, 23-2, 45-5. It was an insane difference due to his LAG SWITCH

I'm pretty sure if you look up contacts on the treyarch website, you can find a way to talk to someone about submitting a vid and what not.
