After playing great MMO's like Lineage & Lineage 2, Age of Conan, and others (no, sorry, I don't drop WoW in with GREAT MMO's), I am EXTREMELY interested in ESO.

If you have ever played any of the elder scrolls and like/loved it (as I have), this is a MUST TRY. I am signed up for beta- we'll see if I get one as a mac player.

**EDIT**

I guess I should have searched the forums for a thread on this instead of just glancing through the pages quickly. I overlooked it. Feel free to delete, unless fresh discussion is warranted.

I was reading through this website. I don't know if the news was updated, but it appears the latest is it will be released on PS4 and Xbox One next spring (April).
I am not clear on the Multi-player aspect for this.... It has been called an MMO but in some press releases it is being described as a basic Multi-player/Co-Op..

Anyone have any details?

Mike

It will be setup similar to Defiance as far as what I have taken away from it.

I think this is going to be insane! The amount of lore is going to be big and the customization looks great.

I absolutely love Skyrim & Oblivion so I am so excited for Elder Scrolls Online. I've been watching most of the vids such as the gameplay, character progression etc...

I know there's 4 classes (Templar, Dragon Knight, Sorcerer, Nightblade) and that the races have been split into 3 factions... Oh my god, I cant wait!

I'll be there with you Fran. Been with the series religiously since Morrowind and can't wait for this installment. I think the potential is going to be unreal. Hopefully they can keep up!

Unfortunately I only started from Oblivion onwards! At first I thought I would hate the games but I absolutely love them. Borrowed my Skyrim out to a friend once, Didn't really want to let it go in case it broke. I think if it did break, I'd be devastated!

Once they announce the official release date, i think it's then time to book a week off work... haha. Then it will definitely be 'bye bye social life'. I think I might first play as a standard Nord so I can figure everything out and then start experimenting!

Age of Conan

You played AoC? Which server? Not often do I run into someone who played more than the first few months of fail after the botched launch. I still log on once in a while to make sure my time training for AAs are being done, and I think my sub is good until June or something, but I rarely play as my first guild dissolved and then my next guild (who was PvP centric) moved to a PvE server because that's where the pop was. So now if I do log on, I usually just hunt randoms in open world. If I get really bored, I start trolling lowbies all over the place. Only problem with that is that you essentially have to PvE your butt off to remove murder points.

Anyway, I've also been looking for something to fill the void that MMO has left, and ESO looks like it could be great in that regard, but we'll see. I'm eager to see what it's all about (so far) this weekend.

I was just wondering if anyone was still playing online and how the game is going there? I know there were problems to begin with and wondered if they had been "ironed" out?
