View Full Version : Our BFF's Kickstarter Fundraiser for D&A
Hello all, Havok here, I'd like to take a minute and throw this out to all of our awesome members here in the USMG. I'm sure some if not most of you have either seen or at least heard of the "Battlefield Friends" series on YouTube. Well, the creators of that show, our friends Brent Triplett, Nate Panning and crew have another show as well called "Doraleous & Associates". If you haven't seen it, it's hilarious. I'll include a link below to Episode 1...

Watch that shit, it just gets funnier as you progress....Anyway, the BFF/D&A boys need a little help raising funds to keep that show going, so they have started a Kickstarter Fundraising event. Now we're getting in on this a little late because its only going on for another month or so, but the goal for the USMG as a whole is to donate $1000(or more if its donated) to their efforts. In doing so, we would gain a "Producer" credit in each subsequent episode they make and also we'd get an animated "Extra" role in the show as well! This would be a great opportunity for us to get some exposure. The D&A series has bajillions of fans, a lot of them military members who watch the BFF's show. And if they see our website is one of the Producers of that show, well, lets just say that it could open us up to many, many good things.
Ok the brass tacks part, if you'd like to donate and help us help them, the way to do that is to send your donation via PayPal to: 4good@usmilitarygamers.com PLEASE, do not donate to them directly! Smoke is going to collect the money we accumulate and, when we reach our goal, donate it to them. If we go over $1000, that's ok, it'll all go to them. Remember, we want it to be in the name of USMILITARYGAMERS.COM

You go to Paypal then send money to 4good@usmilitarygamers.com. Smoke didn't have time to link it yet.
How to Donate:
1. Go to PayPal.com
2. Click the "Send Money" tab
3. Enter 4good@usmilitarygamers.com as the recipient
4. Enter the amount you wish to give
5. Click send
And VIOLA! Your done!
Alternate method:
Use the PayPal app, repeat above steps!

Ok so adding up all the donations from the point where Smoke said we had $350, I've come to the number $655. Which is AWESOME! We have just a little bit more to go to reach our goal....we need $345 more.

We have 21 days to go and their at $70,000+ of their $75k goal. This looks like its gonna get done boys and girls! We WILL reach our $1000 goal to help, I promise you that!

I went ahead with another donation and paid half of it. 172.50$ to go!
And I finished off the remainder. This should put us over $1000 gentlemen! I'm still waiting on final confirmation from Smoke, but I'm sure we did it!
I wanna say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who pledged your time and money in this project. I know I sprung it on you guys a little quickly, but I was confident we could pull this off, and we did. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! I can't wait to see USMILITARYGAMERS.COM plastered all over every episode!

Yes, they will give us the credit we're due, they already are on the D&A Facebook page and they've spoken to me personally on Twitter. But yea I'd like our Producer credit to read simply:

Ok guys, I wanna thank all those that put into this fundraiser once again and also bring your attention to your emails. If you donated separately from the collective $1000 we raised for them, then you should've gotten an email today asking for your information regarding shipping your gifts to you.
A couple of things to note:
1. As for the gifts for the $1000 donation, we've decided to give those to the Member of the Year awardee this year. If anyone objects, we can discuss further.
2. The animated character we get for the show needs to be finalized. I know Valor was working on it, we need that finished ASAP.
That's pretty much it, big thanks again to all who helped me push this through, you guys ROCK!

They should be sending it to you. I only got an email for the $100 I donated seperately. They may be gradually giving out the donation gifts by denomination donated. Thats all I can think of....
In any case, I'm very excited about this! Thanks again for helping me get our name on a project that has the potential to get us noticed by literally tens of thousands of people!
