Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

http://web-vassets.ea.com/Assets/Resources/Image/PromoImage/AOTDC-450x197.jpg?cb=1344635402

The originator of tactical co-op is back! Developed by Visceral Games, the award-winning creators of Dead Space, Army of TWOThe Devil’s Cartel delivers an immersive and unique 3rd-person co-op action-shooter that’s built on the new Frostbite 2 engine for maximum destruction.

You and your partner must shoot and destroy anything in your path to take down a violent drug cartel that’s taken over Mexico. In gripping partner-based missions, each player must tackle and overcome individual objectives to achieve a common goal. The more effective your teamwork, the greater the reward as the new Overkill mode gives you devastating power for truly epic mass destruction! Experience this explosive action-blockbuster campaign in two-player local split-screen or online co-op!

PURE CO-OP

Communicate. Coordinate. Dominate.

Battling the world’s deadliest cartel is more than one man can handle, but you’ve got a partner. Whether you’re performing flanking maneuvers, creating diversions to take the heat off, or even giving him one last shot of adrenaline when things get a little too chaotic. Working together as a single engine of destruction is the key to laying waste to your surroundings and taking out enemies with overwhelming force. The more effectively you work together, the more cash you make and the more destruction you’ll cause. You may be outgunned and outnumbered, but the only number you need is T.W.O.

LETHAL CARTELS

Ambitious. Dangerous. Murderous.

T.W.O. has faced some tough enemies, but now you’re up against the most vicious cartel in the world. Take part in a T.W.O. operation against La Guadaña (the Scythe), a ruthless criminal organization that holds the people of Mexico in its murderous grip. The cartel rules through fear, violence, and intimidation, killing without remorse and corrupting the government for their own sadistic ends. Only you and your T.W.O. teammate can lead an uprising into the heart of the Devil’s Cartel and bring swift, bloody justice to the Mexican people. Failure is not an option when the soul of a nation is at stake.

EXPLOSIVE DESTRUCTION

Decimate. Obliterate. Annihilate.

Become an instrument of mass destruction in Army of Two The Devil’s Cartel. As a member of one of the world’s most elite private military companies, you and your partner will be armed to unleash colossal amounts of destruction. As you lay waste to the enemy, you’ll build up Overkill, an ability that briefly makes you an invincible engine of absolute destruction. Walls, barriers, and buildings bow to the explosive power of your weapons, powered by the bombastic Frostbite 2 engine that powers Battlefield™ 3. Is your enemy hiding behind that truck and refusing to come out? Trigger Overkill and blast the truck into the dust… taking your enemies with it!

Man I want to get this but can't afford it. Love the Army of 2 series although the second one wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. The co-op teamwork is great and the level of customization you have in these games is awesome!

As long as you have a dedicated person to play it with, it was just as excellent game. Played the entire first game through with a buddy, was awesome. Never tried the second though......too many bad reviews from people I knew.

I did the first with my sons mom now my ex, she wasn't a gamer but was a good team player.

This game may be perfect for my current girlfriend to play with me. The ai partner doesn't cut it, I am stuck on a level in the second one still cause the ai won't stay where I say and gets gunned down.

Yeah never had a problem finding a partner for the first game. Now the second was a different story, when I couldn't find a partner I would always just have the AI hold position and move up once I cleared the way. I didn't much care for the moral choices they had you make and they totally changed the gameplay mechanics and not in a good way. It was still a pretty fun game and the weapon customization was actually improved a bit from the first.

Dude this game is awesome the story ties in seamlessly with the other two. By far my favorite Army of Two, the 40th Day was a dissapointment but The Devil's Cartel totally redeems the series. I haven't seen many people playing this game but if there is anyone who needs a partner hit me up!

Did you finish the story, I am part 38 or so. I like the weapon setups more and yeah it falls in line great. I am enjoying it, but was on battlefield with a few guys last week or so.
