Aye guys, Just passing the word around I'm starting up as a Dj/Producer, I mostly make EDM, House, Dance, Trap, and literally any genre that uses sythns and bass. I have a chance to make it big. I have a close family friend in the Electronic dance industry been to over 22 countries name is Tommy Colontonio been in this genre making music for years, has connections up the ying yang, as of right now I'm just making tracks in my apartment down at college I might start this full time if I get a name made for myself. Is anyone in the community a fan of EDM or the rave culture surrounding it? Just curious to see how many of yall are into this stuff. Later down the line I hope to introduce a more political aspect of my music, having spoken samplings from various pro civil rights, pro military speakers, pro libertarian motives. Right now I'm using FL Studio 10 Signature/Professional and Ableton. I'll post my music on my thread when I release it and yall can tell me what you think. The software I'm using is the same as avicii and afrojack two of the best known producers out there. Anyone interested in EDM or themselves make the music I make. The EDM culture is growing rapidly almost all the new music now a days has aspects of EDM in it, if you don't know what it is basically the same music you hear in those harlem shake videos or most music produced by crappy rap artists. Just something original, more Electro//Progressive with Bass drop, Drop isnt 100% I want to make it louder and heavier with bass and lighter with synths. Also a more modern Daft Punky Sound, I feel like producers now a day lost touch with the orginal sound.

I like where you're heading but I'm not a big fan of the beat that starts at the 45 second.

It's a bit to long. I would shorten it a bit, cause to me it sounds a little repetitive as a beat to transition to another beat with more beats but with the same beat. If you know what i'm saying.

Made alot of changes and networked alot, have met some of the top guys in the industry so far too, but giving you guys a heads up about everything, Until the end of june I was working as a mechanic in the day 5am-3:30pm everyday for a shop that installs and fixes emergency vehicles anything from federal marshall suburbans to ambulances from anything in between, long days and on top of that i was dj'n and producing in the night. Well I ended up making more money dj'n and producing so I quit my day jb about a month ago, since then I've open sets for bassjackers in NYC, R3hab down the jersey shore, and have even been invited to Avicii's Albulm listening party in NYC, btw guys Avicii is literally the chillest dude on the planet. I'm moving back down to West Virginia In about a month, not going to be a full time student at the Uni but ill be taking online classes, one as a back up plan, and two so I can still do Platoon's leader for a commision if I still choose to go that route, I'll be taking 12 credits so ill still be full time on the books. But I'll call it by ear, I just need to become a better producer and it takes time but in all honesty if I really hustle I could be signed by this time next year. And thats not and exaggeration. And it's funny my entire DJ set up is worth more then my car I have 4 cdj2000's and a djm900. but Thursday August 8th I'll be dj'n in Philadelphia for the Lingerie football League, yea the LFL. Checking in again guys sorry for being so inactive for the past 6 months! Well recapping again, ended up networking in the industry took a break from producing concentrated on Dj'n and networking. Ended up being really good friends with some of my favorite djs I used to look up to. Very good bs'd with Carnage, LoudPvck, and 3lau if any of y'all know the names which is huge. Also really good friends with Porter Robinsons girlfriend still yet to meet him, I'll be opening for Arty in New Jersey on New Years Eve.

But getting away from that, started up my own entertainment company with 4 other djs out of West Virginia University, the company is a branch of EROCK Entertainment which is the largest entertainment company in NYC and New Jersey and anywhere from Miami to Vegas. And now West Virginia University I'm the VP of EROCK-U which pertains to College campuses, we will be expanding o multiple campuses over the next year but will be hosting events and booking DJs like afrojack krewella Avicii Tiesto and so forth so even if my career doesn't end up so hot which I doubt because of the amount of shit I've accomplished in the short time of doing this. But I would still have a killer job which I built from the ground up. That being said I would really love the company to sponsor our various charities as well as get back into make a sound project which would literally be perfect for these events since one event we host will sell anywhere from 2,000-15,000 people. Any ideas? Also we are hiring and expanding all through out the entire United States if you are ever looking for work I will hire anyone on the spot, we are hiring Security, Promoters, Finical Advisors, web site designers etc.

Yea I'm actually hitting the studio with Michael Woods later today once he arrives in New Jesery before his show tonight up in West Orange New Jersey. Chillin with carnage was crazy met up with him a week after I opened for LOUDPVCK first met him and I tried showing him some of the video from my set hand was shaking horribly, I was like great first impressions, the guy thinking I'm rolling my face off right now.

But for production I use Ableton and FL studio 11, and to DJ I use USB. I have 2 CDJ2000 Nexuses and a DJM 900.
