Hey y'all I just wanted to say that this Marine is finally getting promoted to Sergeant on April 1st. After almost 4 years as a corporal it is well deserved. Semper fidelis

This stupid ass corporal in the shop next to mine. He's got a major attitude problem I plan on fixing. I know the line between hazing and not hazing and I plan to be right on that line

Just send him to the S-2 for a box of grid-squares, or supply for a BA-1100-N (of course with a ST-ring attachment). Maybe to the armory for a can of back-blast or to the Comm shop for some Frequency grease. ;)

You forgot about a trip to the motor sergeant for a bottle of blinker grease, and a plastic bag to take an exhaust sample (I actually saw that happen once...and yes, a brand-new PVT walked around for a good five minutes with a bag full of exhaust before the CO finally told him, "I'll handle this", and took it from him).

We always used to piss off our motor sergeant (who was a SFC) by sending the new guys to ask for a PRQ-E7.

We used to do that with our new kids back in my first unit. It was always funny when a jet was turning and haven them behind it with a trash bag. Or have them ask for the keys to aircraft 23

Yep, I also have tried these with some of the newbees (it's probaly considered hazing now).... I have been meaning to start a 'military stories' thread for some of these oldies.....

We also used to use KY-58s so that would have made it even better, lol.

I was an "operator" not an actual comm person. We used them to talk to aircraft and for comsec stuff.
