What is the best place to get tickets for airfare online? I will be travelling roundtrip. I have never done this before, anyone got any good ideas ?

Make sure you do not revisit the same site repeatedly or your prices will go up. Just a tip.

If you call an airline directly and tell them that' your active or a vet they will give you a pretty decent discount

Yeah, what others have said. I would use a site like priceline to see what airline has a flight to your locations and at the time window you're looking for and then call the airline directly
