Thanks brother! You do the same. We've made it through the first Easter egg hunt and all kids still have their fingers and toes, lol.

My kids and I went shopping after a nice lunch. Stores weren't too busy. Nice quiet easter.

Happy late Easter everyone. I moved all weekend. Sucked but now i'm all settled in at my place. Dog hates it and I love it. He'll get over it lol. Now I have to get comcast to set my shit up so I can game again. This shit is killing me.

Glad you're all set up kid. Was this a local move or a pcs?

Local move bro. I've been out the military for almost 2.5 years. I freaking love my new place though. The town house I live in now is way bigger then the single family P.O.S house I lived in before

Darn, Rob.... I didn't know you were out of the military.... May I ask if you are getting your benefits? If you prefer not to answer I understand or shoot me an email. I am sure River_Rat has already approached you on this.

I plan on using the Vet's loan next year when I attempt to buy a house. As far as for any other benefits, I have yet to use any of them

Have you filed a disability claim, Bro?

Nah! When I got out, I made sure that I didn't file any problems. Not sure if that was a good idea or bad

Happy belated as well. Same as Rob, spent the weekend moving. But my daughter did her first Easter Egg hunt. So much fun.

Ah you aren't mucking up the thread Warrior. Any advice is always a plus. I was getting to that with Rob, but not trying to be too indepth, in the forum post.
I do this for a living now.... UNPAID living, that is, as a Veteran Service Officer. I know this is a gaming forum but, We all have a duty as Brothers and Sisters to help out our members when we can; especially on the Benefits front.
I have been thinking of making a 'blog' post concerning the importance of filing claims and to give a little advice to make it less of a 'pain in the butt'.

Hence why I didn't file any health issues. I had a feeling that if I filed any, those would hinder any opportunity of work when I got out. Yea, its nice to have a disability check if you can get it but I would rather work without having problems getting a job vs having a disability on my DD214 preventing me from getting one.
