I went to the car show yesterday and I must say GM went all out which is nice to see. They had a whole wing of the Javits Center to themselves. I thought I was just going to see the new Corvette Stingray reveal but no. They announced a new Camaro Z-28 for 2014. The Camaro will have a new front and rear end in 2014 but will also have the Z-28 which will cost more than the ZR-1. Chevy is claiming the Z-28 is faster than the ZR-1 on the track because they lightened the Z-28 which obviously makes it faster!! Anyway here are some pictures.

As you can see they had a Stingray convertible there which I thought looked amazing!!

The new Z28 looks siiiiiiick! I still wouldn't get a Chevy though. Just saying. Yo Rob (1000), didn't you say you wanted to get a camaro?

I did say that!! It will be a couple of years from now though because I have to pay off my truck first. I may get the ZR-1 used because they will drop in price with this Z-28 coming out. All my friends have awesome sports cars and I'm the only asshole drive a family truck.

and within those two years, you'll be suffering lol. You're right about the price drops. Chevy, just like fords, don't hold value when it comes to sports cars. ZR1 is one nasty beast too

Well I wanted the Challenger SRT8, but the wife vetoed me lol, we're considering the Ford Explorer or the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm leaning toward the Jeep, but I have to say the Ford looks pretty sexy lol

Yeah, the 2014 Explorer really improved looks-wise. Much less mini-van this time around. But then again, all the Fords are looking better.

New explorer does look amazing. However, I'd have to say that the winner of all of these would have to be the new santa fe from hyundai. It's been completely revamped.

ZR-1? I think you mean the ZL-1 man yeah they are sick I have a few pictures of the Tony Stewart edition of the new Z-28. Not too sure if they will be coming too far down in price even with the Z-28 coming out.

Yes I meant ZL-1, I fucked that up!!! Lol. Right now in NY anyway the ZL-1 is being sold by hundreds of dealerships way over sticker price. But once the Z-28 comes out later this year the demand for the ZL1 will drop a bit because everyone will want the better looking, lighter, and faster Z-28. I go to local car shows all summer long and talk to lots of ZL1 owners. Most of them love having people gawk at there car so they must have the newest most up to date model available. They will sell to buy the Z-28. Right now on auto trader you will see the ZL1 being sold between 50,000 to as high as 65,000. Next year you will see them for 40,000 watch!!!

I hate to say this, but just like the camero's back in the day. They will loose value fast. Hence why the fell off the production line in the past

That's pretty much true for any new car Rob, not just The Camaro. My friend bought a 2010 Shelbey GT 500 for like $37,000 from a dealer with less than 10,000 miles on it. It's all a matter of supply and demand.

Really!! I was kind of disappointed with the new WRX, and I had a 2004. I love subaru. I feel they made it look like a Toyota Scion. I don't know maybe its just me.

What truck one Top Gears toughest truck challenge? The Chevy K-10 and what company still has US investors as majority of ownership? Chevy nuff said. Lol I like the new dodges but id take a new chevy any day.

You mean the Top Gears challenge where they had 3 grand to buy a truck and the 83 chevy got lucky when the 74 ford blew a u-joint and the dodge got stuck in mud? Sorry, 30-40 year old trucks trail driving in Alaska.....not really much relevance.
And yeah, Chevy has majority U.S. investors......... because it got bailed out by the government.
At the end of the day, even though I'd take a Dodge over a Chevy........its the best of two turds, cause I'd take a Ford over either.

The dodge blew the engine but new Taurus yes everything else Ford no except the focus because they switched to twin turbos on everything, when the warranty runs out I wouldnt want to own them.

Hold on! I am completely against bail outs, and didn't like when this happened but in Chevy's defense they already payed that bailout back completely with interest. Smart investors stay away from corporations like Chevy because they mismanaged there finances.

Haha!! I could walk behind my wife for only so long!! Lol. I did a double take at one of the car girls and she saw me do it and smiled at me. When I turned back and looked my wife was looking right at me. Busted!!! But yeah, a bunch of them were smoking hot!!!

True that but right now Fords are looking real good on maintaing their value. As far as for your friend. He got a steal. The sad part is that you can get the 5.0 GT that isn't supercharged AND it will be slightly slower than the 2010 Shelby GT500. Couple mods, a tune and you have a car that isn't supercharged but is just as fast as the 2010 GT500
