View Full Version : [PS3] Defiance branch?
Are we looking at defiance at all, as being our next big game? If so, are we starting a campaign for recruitment? If we are, why are we waiting so long to do it? I guess, what I'm asking here is this... what is our outlook/plan for this title. Kill em quick, Been there done that, Tactical gaming are all hitting this title pretty hard. I can't help but ask...why isn't USMG.

No idea, ive been swamped with stuff in Korea and ive seen the trailers and what not. Has anyone played it yet? Is it good at all? If so i might pick it up for PC and get recruitment going on it. If someone is already playing respond to this thread.

I am all about getting us more activity on the PS3 side. I can't say that I will grab this game in the near future, but I will start a push in the Defiance forums if we are going to have anyone playing.

I just don't see it as being good enough for me to get, and I know others feel the same way.

Just being realistic about it, I don't see it hurting us at all. It's not like we have a vested interest in the game. I picked it up because I was told it's a lot like Borderlands... it didn't do well in the BETA stages so that will affect the amount of people who play it. I'll be able to give a better reply after I play it and see what it's all about.

Yeah, its been announced for a bit now.....but I don't think it's directly linked insofar as the game can effect the show.......rather events in the show are referenced in the game. Making them interactable and experienceable in the game.

Okay so after the hour long install/patch download I finally got a chance to play. I hadn't realized what the game was really like etc. I'm loving the idea and concept so far. Very hands-on... Basically 3rd Person Borderlands/Diablo.

Is anyone saavy to clan/guild making for this? I would create it but I am not seeing a feature or anything on their site for it outside the recruitment forums.
Ok so not long after Jack and Sanders posted in their Forums, we have 5 confirmed applicants. We don't get 5 apps in a WEEK for the PS3 side normally. I think it's safe to say Jack had the right idea in giving this serious consideration. Great job Jack & Sam, great job! :)

Get busy for the 50. Yeah, I don't like the whole rank settings
You'll hit 50 in no time. as for rank, that will be up to the poc in the game.

Okay, clans. Clan interface is in the Ego menu. Like was mentioned earlier, it costs 5000 scrip, and requires 50 Ego.
Ranks actually are kind of necessary, since they control permissions. General setup is an intro rank for brand new people, general member rank, and officer rank. Depends mostly on group storage.
