I played the PS3 demo and thought it looked and played really well, but fighters just aren't for me. I think fighters were ruined for me back in the SNES days playing Street Fighter Alpha 2 and trying to learn the moves and combos only to have my obnoxious stepbrother annihilate me time and time again by using M. Bison and spamming that god damn slide kick until i was defeated. my tactic eventually became spamming Ryu's Hadoken from across the screen and try not to let him close or it was slide kick hell again. Our matches became very repetitive after that and I lost enjoyment in the genre lol

I think that is what does it in for me. TOO many key combo's to remember to take advantage of the full game.

my gripe wasn't so much learning the combos and moves, it was the fact that I took the time to do it and My step brother would beat me every time by pressing down and kick over and over and over and over and over and over.....

ok, so i got it yesterday, after playin it all night, quite literally, stoped playin and 0330 cause thats when i was fianlly tired enough to get to sleep, its pretty frickin sweet. Love the current cast of characters, some are kinda wonky for me to use, others not so much. All said and done though, a very well done DC fighting game, combos are wicked fast, environment interaction is awesome, characters are interesting, and the story is very...super hero like...but at the same time, not. if you havent gotten the game yet, i suggest going out and getting it at some point, gonna be playin the hell out of the game down range so yah, ill be havin some fun with the game

I have the game and I got an opinion... I suck at fighting games, almost as much as J's mom (it's been months, I was entitled to mention here eventually) but I give this a 8/10.

Story is solid, but easily done (on very hard) in about 6-8 hours.
Multiplayer is fluid and load times are almost non existent.
If you have an Isomething you can get extra stuff just for playing on console/Iwhatever.
Lasting appeal is there, even if you only play every now and then; DLC support is cheap compared to COD.

This game is awesome. I am horrible at it 0-10 on ranked matches lol never been good at fighting type games but between the story the multiplayer and the extra battles and Star Labs there is tons of stuff to do. Very fun.

I caught that too, but didn't think he would be the last for the season, especially considering the movie Superman movie release tie in with Zod. He will probably be the first to come out for the second round at least I hope he is the first.
