Roam around and kick the tires. Being new to the site here I have found thatwe are sitting upon a myriad of information. If you have time, roam around and click someof the links. This place centers onbeing a gaming community, and that it is. Look at the reviews and experiences that are not tainted by a ‘companyline’ mentality. These guys tell it howit is. You can go to many game sites andthey will avoid divulging the deep dark secrets and inadequacies of their sponsors…not here.
While you are kicking the tires read some of theinformational posts, blogs, home page, events (which I can’t access), groups(get involved here). You will findhelpful perspectives away from gaming. Most posts are done with a timely dose of humor. Pay attention to the rules listed in the ‘UCMJ’,be mindful of what you post in the ‘public forums’ and read some of these sticky threads on the site. I always lived by knowledge is power and theRTFM/RTFO philosophy. (RTFM/RTFO = ReadThe F#$%ing Manual/ Read The F#$%ing Order.
The staff seems to be well organized and helpful…. My inquirieshave never gone unanswered (although I think they regret me asking sometimes…lol). Don’t let their 6 digit salaries scareyou (just kidding, I think it’s 7 digits).
While you are at it, click on some of the profiles of the members;see the variety backgrounds, experiences, all in ONE Family.
All I am saying is stay involved (if you have the time), addwhere you can, and leave a positive impact.

Well stated Mike. A lot of what we are about is camaraderie. People are surprised how well connected we are and how much of a family oriented community we are, ESPECIALLY being an all inclusive military community. I'm glad you put this from a newer member perspective.
