Looking for the Gamer Voice!

Hello Gamers!

With permission from smoke, I am asking for your assistance. My name is Joseph Graham, and I am a doctoral student at the University of Central Florida studying the video game culture. I have conducted many focus groups and interviews but I have not heard the voice of the military gamer. In an effort to fix this, I am asking you to take a brief online survey that typically takes less than 10 minutes. The reason for my research is that there is a lot of talk about video games but no one has defined the video game culture, and I find it unethical to talk about video games without a cultural perspective. Thank you for the feedback. You are correct that employment would likely be a correlate to video game addiction. I will certainly incorporate it into my future research. The current survey is for general information gathering purposes.
It typically takes about a year for anything to get published in academic journals, but I will definitely provide a link (if the journal provides me with one) onto a thread when my publications become available.
Also, feel free to pass around the survey to any gamers!
