I would like it to mesh better. They aren't even in the same place. Also, only Nolan and Irisa are in both the game and show. Varus was mentioned too. I mean, there is a black law keeper who is not Cooper. Very weird.

I think there will be more of a merger down the road a bit, right now it seems as though there might be events taking place just on opposite sides of the planet. We don't even know what te geography is like at the moment. I'm curious to see what the planets map looks like, for all we know Defiance may not even be in the middle of what we now know as the US. So much to learn about the new weld still, can't wait for more

If defiance is built from the remnants of st. Louis, isn't it safe to say we CAN assume it is located in the middle of what we know now as the united states? Perhaps the shape of the continent has changed dramatically with the terraforming but by the show alone (I've only seen the show, haven't played the game) I would say it is more or less central

I don't know taking a look at the game map it could be a tough call, I mean I'm sure Defiance is not on the coast. I just wanted to raise the point that we don't know what the geography looks like anymore.

It is a good point. While St. Louis is likely still in the same place geographically, the coastlines may be completely different.
