So yesterday an explosion happened at a fertalizer plant near Waco.

Yeah, I'm very curious what caused this to happen. Investigators can't get into the area yet because its toxic. What a mess that it.

Yeah, I bet it did!! The photos I saw of the blast looked like a nuclear explosion smoke cloud. Thats some crazy stuff.

That's what I've been hearing. Probably accidental, though the plant was cited once for not obtaining the necessary permits. So...careless, unsafe factory?

water being put on the hot ammonium nitrate causes it to become a gas which can become flammable due to what ever other chemicals are around, this could be caused by the sprinkler system in the factory or fireman. Bad anyway you put it.

That's horrible so much destruction over these past few days....prayers to all during these trying times....I can say that Americas resilience really shines through tragedies as evidence by the repose and sacrifice of our men and women who serve these fine communities-

Not to further speculation, but I heard this morning that the fertilizer was kept in metal tanks. That plus flames and pressure makes the explosion kind of a given. Either way, very sad.
