Not sure if this has been posted yet. I would like to ask you all to keep the families of the 3 crew members from Fairchild AFB in your thoughts. Friday May 3rd we Lost a KC-135 Aircraft tail number 63-8877. here is a small statement from Fairchild.





Today the 92 ARW sadly announces that Capt Mark T. “Tyler” Voss, Capt Victoria A. “Tory” Pinckney, and Technical Sergeant Herman “Tre” Mackey III lost their lives Friday, when their aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. All three of these patriots were members of our proud 93d Air Refueling Squadron. These brave Airmen leave behind an incredible legacy and show what we all know, that freedom is never free. Memorial service details will be released when available.We will forever honor Tyler, Tori and Tre as patriots who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. Team Fairchild will do everything we can to support their families and friends during this profoundly difficult time. Please keep Tyler, Tori and Tre in your hearts and please keep their family and our fellow Airmen inyour thoughs and prayers.


The Aircraft was from a little to close to home for me. It was a McConnell AFB bird. to which at one point as i am a Crew Chief i have touched at one time or another. My heart is heavy with the loss of the crew and aircraft!

Earthquake, flood or famine
The world needs US aid
The air bridge is faster, to any disaster
“I need vectors to the tanker.”

NKA…WTG! (Nobody Kicks Ass...Without Tanker Gas)
We take pride in this expression.
Day or night, we fuel the fight.
“I need vectors to the tanker.”

A CSAR helo has been launched
A grim hunt for 3 survivors.
A burned patch is found, now hallowed ground.
“I need vectors to the tanker.”

Today a crew is coming home.
Boom stowed and bound for heaven.
They passed their gas, now haulin’ ass.
“I need vectors for the tanker.”

All AMC aircrews please stand by
This is GOD on “Guard.”
Lemay and I from up on high
“Are giving vectors to the tanker.”

My families thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the lost and all of those impacted at Fairchild...they paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country

Its been a rough week here that's for sure. I knew the pilots and was quite familiar with the jet as it was with me on my deployment. Knowing and seeing what the families are dealing with makes me want to throw up. They can use all the prayers and well wishes they can get.

I know what you're going through, I remember when the B-2 went down in Guam, I was stationed at Whiteman AFB it's not easy...hang in there
