Got an e-mail today that the demo is out on 360/PS3. Hadn't seen/heard anything on this game until the e-mail. Is anyone else trying this out or thinking of picking it up?

Details about the demo:

Experience the devastating power of co-op teamwork as you and up to three friends join forces in the Fuse demo from Insomniac games. Taking place midway through the game, the demo gives players a chance to play with and level up all four Overstrike operatives along with their Xenotech weapons. The demo supports 1-4 players with online and split-screen drop-in and drop-out co-op.

I think the demo is pretty solid, played through once solo and again with my brother and found it pretty enjoyable. It's 3rd person though, I know that is a no go for a lot of hardcore Fps types so keep that in mind. Controls are close to but not quite Cod style so keep that in mind too, I know people that rage if the controls are not what they're used to. It feels similar to lost planet for me. Insomniac has never disappointed me though so I think it's going to end up being a good game that doesn't take itself too serious

Oh yeah and when they first showed it off at e3 it had a different name. Overstrike I think? Anyways, that might be part of why some haven't heard of it

No they are the ones that have done the Ratchet and Clank series. This is actually their first cross platform release I think.

Find out the hard way in Fuse, a four-person co-op action shooter that puts players in command of contact team Overstrike 9 -- four elite agents, each with their own unique skills and experimental weapons. In story-driven, cooperative action, players must thwart a rogue paramilitary organization called Raven from stealing the deadly alien energy source known as Fuse. Your team -- Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux -- will pursue Raven around the world, from the fortified desert facility to underwater bases, island strongholds, icy mountain peaks, palatial hideouts and beyond.

Played the demo and it was ok. Kinda sucks cause I was looking for a good new co-op experience.

Lol I'm thinking we need to hop on some F.E.A.R or something else tonight. RE5 doesn't sound as fun right now.
