Has anyone dealt with the Turtle beach X42s. I had to get them since my kid and dog love to run over my wires and almost break my neck every time. I nabbed these off of eBay for 69$ so I got a killer deal.

Haven't had them but if the don't work out the Triton ones I have don't have wires except from the headset to the controller and work good.

This is where I got my wireless headset... it's a pretty great deal if you don't mind refurbed equipment which I have never had any issues with.

I use the X-41's... love them and they seem durable. I did buy a new set of X-42's for a Wounded Warrior buddy of mine... He loves them. Gaming is his outreach to the world. Can't give you a better review than that sorry.
The only downside would be the batteries... but that is with most headsets. If you have rechargeables it's great, otherwise buy plenty of AAA batts.
