Supporting for a friend.

I may not be a soldier, but I have a friend who is leaving overseas as I write this thread. I apologize if this is an short introduction seeing as the rules for the introduction forums has been altered. so I will make this brief. I'm only a guest, and a friend. I'm with the RFH clan for Battlefield 3, and I only ask for some prayers for my friend who has been deployed. He is from the US army, and I like to show my support by hanging out with the veterans, and maybe play a few rounds on the battlefield. pleasure meeting you all. :)

Glad to hear that you support your friend going overseas.

I can't tell you how much it means to have friends who care for their friends that deploy.

Deployment is a very tough thing to do for some and can weigh some people down.

Especially being away for such a long time from their family and friends.

As far as for playing on BF, sorry but I don't roll on that game.

I agree with Rob, it is crucial that military members receive the support they need on the home front. Deployments are stressful and it is always good to hear that those we are defending appreciate our sacrifice and service. Continue being a true friend and be strong for those deployed members and let those around you know all about them and the work they are doing to defend freedom. Thanks for all of your support!

Thank you guys for the warm welcome, and for the prayers for my best friend. The guy means a lot to me, grew up as kids, and we both love the military. Sadly I cannot be recruited because I am the only son to my mother. if I had another sibling, I would've been with my friend in Jordan already.

The Military means a great deal to me. Warfare runs in my family, but in those days my uncle's were freedom fighters. Even though my blood boils for service, I suppress it by playing music in the church I go to. For all the veterans out there, I envy you. haha! I mean it.

Huh? You can be in the military as an only son. The rules about that apply only to the draft, and only in certain situations. Doesn't apply to volunteering. http://www.snopes.com/military/onlyson.asp

Great info for the potential recruit Seargeant, that rule only applies during times of a mandatory draft. If you wish to serve you can, speak to a local recruiter, if you don't wish to wear the uniform there are plenty of ways to serve or men and women of the armed forces. Thanks again for your support.

Hey Silent you should finish your application for the clan. We welcome civilians etc. Just part of our process. Once you do that we can grant you more access to the site and maybe be able to help your friend further.
