Just thought I would throw up some great video game facts from time to time...bits of knowledge we may not have known

didn't it start a lot earlier than that? I remember reading an article on various attempts at getting online services going as far back as the atari. A bunch weren't set up to allow gamers to play with each other, more to stream games but i know a couple did it. The famicom (japanese NES) had some third party add ons that allowed online play, same with the SNES and sega genesis i believe. Sega had it on the saturn because I recall being able to play sega rally and duke nukem via the Netlink modem. not greatly popular or successful by any means but still attempted

you would be correct max but it was the the Saturn.. I know cause i had it!! i surfed PORN on netlink.. worked like a champ!! I tried sticking in sega's camp for so long.. sniff sniff .. i was die hard sega fan.. had the Genisis with Sega CD also.. two words.... Night Trap!!! lol...
