Bad news for Wii U

Just heard in the radio that EA in their infinite awesomeness(sarcasm) will no longer be developing any games for the Wii U. I think we can all agree that this platform has flopped and who knows how much longer games for it will be around.

The reporter said that EA guaranteed their support and are now backing out, I'm assuming that's what they meant. No clue, just what I heard.

From GMA news interview on the 23rd of May: most recent interview I've found,

The Market for Computer and Video Games UK said EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen said the publisher is still making games for Nintendo's newest platform.

Jorgensen, however, admitted the games EA will produce for Wii U will not be as many as those for Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PS4.

"We are building titles for the Nintendo console, but not anywhere near as many as we are for PS or Xbox," it quoted him as saying.

He added the consumer can expect "a lot more powerful gameplay" and excitement with the new consoles coming out.

It's sad that it is starting so slow, it's not meant to be for adult gamers....I know they are trying to move that way with some of the titles but it won't happen. Lack of a working intuitive online system sucks. But as a family friendly console it's great, my daughter loves it, nastaulgic gamers will love the new Mario, I do. It has potential, just hope they don't wait too long to pull their head out of their ass

Rather than updating new information in a different news story, perhaps write in an update on the existing one. In this case, something like:

Thats usually how it's done with the update at the very top of the article

Oh, yeah. The update was buried in a larger article not directly responding to the first Wii U article. But I should probably put one in the original article.
