Well today at work I might have had a slight bit of heat stroke and I might have forgotten to hydrate, well it didn't stop me from being a beast and continue my work in the 100 degree sun of New Jersey. Well just got to the hospital woke up on an ambulance and apparently i passed out.. Which made me realize my job sucks right now but the pays good. Got me thinking, kinda curious what yall weirdest and worst jobs were. Even though my job sucks right now, it isnt the worst. Currently I am a general service tech(AKA Gopher) for an emergency services detailing/installation/bodyshop, the facility I work at handles all the Ambulances for the eastern United States. The facility is over 20 acres and I am on a 2 man team in charge of everything from grounds keeping, Janitorial duties of the shop, detailing and installing emergency equipment and overall anything that needs to be done. But it pays good. So anyway whats the weirdest and worst jobs yall had.
Worst: Busboy for a Saloon and Grille, paid $2.15 and hour and tip out for a 12 hour shift was well below minimum wage standards, Cleaned dip spit off floors, washed dishes, cleaned shit covered bathrooms (literally shit covered as in they missed the toilet completely regularly) and busted my ass non stop no breaks always running around cleaning.
Weirdest: Door to Door Vacuum Salesman, but it was the best damn vacuum ever, or so i was told, worked for them for probably 2 weeks and then realized i was a d2d vacuum salesmen.

I did the same thing. I'm pretty sure it was ran by the Mob. They would make me call them from the persons house and explain why they didn't want an $1800 vacuum. Worst job ever.

My worst job was for a gutter and awning company. We did exactly what the description said put gutters and awning on houses and buildings. I did that until the day I was hanging with one leg on a ladder while hanging gutters on a 8 story apartment building. This is where my fear of heights kicked in and I said F' it and quit.
My weirdest job was working at a car wash for a summer. Me and one other guy were the only 2 drying cars that spoke English(Got good tips though). Made for long days.

My worst job ever was as a bill collector. Evil job. I got fired because I wasn't "producing" enough. It was also right after my wife and I moved in together and I realized I had someone else depending on me for the first time ever and I couldn't just quit. Very happy the day they fired me. :)
Mine detection in Bosnia. I drove a tractor trailer in front of columns when the mine detection track broke down. If I went boom they stopped.
Civilian wise I was in high school and for 3 years cleaned a Mexican night club in Dallas at 3 am every day. It was so gross. Sometimes found people in there stabbed, would tell the manager and he drug em outside and the ambulance would take em still alive. Most of anyway.

De-tassling corn for a seed company. To prevent the corn strains from cross-polinating, they would hire kids to walk through the rows and pull the tassles off the corn. You had to pull them straight up and out so the stalk wasn't damaged. I was 13, and at the time about 4'8" tall and constantly had to stand on my toes. It was in July and August, so about 100 degrees with no ability to get a breeze. If you missed a tassle the field boss would scream like a DI. The corn cut your face, your neck, your arms. We worked from 6am until 9pm. But at the time it paid about $.50 more than minimum wage, which to a 13 year old seemed like enough to buy my first Ferrari by the end of summer. I bought a digital watch instead. :ohwell:

Ok... back on topic...
Worst Job: Every DIC claim I do... Unfortunately I have another scheduled for tomorrow.
Weirdest Job: I was assigned as a cross country chaser, for a one time mission. Flew from NC to California to pick up an idiot for court martial. But, I had to drive his screwed up van back. The A/C was out and it was the middle of the summer... riding on Hwy 10 across the southwest in my dress 'C' uniform with this jerk handcuffed to the back seat sucked bad.... I stopped at every Hooters for lunch just to screw with this maggot.

I had to escort an Airman to prison from Missouri to Mirimar in San Diego...damn sex offender. Well we drove past the gate a few times, the last time we pulled up and the turned around to mess with him. First thing they did when they got a hold of him was a cavity search

You'll do it for beer? You've got the job! :) Seriously, I've spent some time under my house and I don't envy you having to do that job.
Dippin dots, I worked there for a little over a year before I went to bootcamp.
