Free Fable 3

Here's how to get the game for free (which we've tested): You must be an Xbox Gold member. Head on over to the game's page and click purchase. Yes, it says that it's $20 (or whatever it is in your regional currency). Now comes the important part. Make sure you are paying with Microsoft Points, not with your credit card. You should see a final confirmation screen identical to the image above listing the game for free.

When you get to the purchase screen just hit 'X' to purchase with Microsoft Points. It should say FREE. My download is commencing!

The company will also bring two games per month, free of charge, to Xbox Live Gold members. The first two games are Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3. Additionally, it was announced that "hundreds" of games are still on the way for Xbox 360.

Still waiting to see if they are really "free full games" or if they go aware if your subscription lapses, ala PS+

Not only did I get fable for free but also happy wars. This will be nice cuz three of my kids all have xboxs and no jobs to pay for their games.

It really is. Played in beta then left it alone for months and just back on it. All the addiction of a Facebook game, rpg lootfest and multiplayer combined in one.

According to the official Games with Gold page on the Xbox website, Microsoft is making two games available for free very month, which gamers with a subscription to Xbox Live Gold can download and keep. A new game will be added to the service on the 1st and the 16th day of each month.

He was referring to another game on the 360 called happy wars....free to download and free to play. It's a tower defense/capture multiplayer killing game lol
