Thanks for the party invite last night.... That was the first I received from the forum (to talk about or play any games). (I can't forget that KaNtStOpME has given me invites but, usually when I am too indisposed to join.)

Yeah I got into the beta, and was only able to play briefly, and not sure if Imma play much because of there server availabilty times.
I am on the fringe right now about the game. I never played it on pc, but I was really looking forward for it on 360
I really hope they get the squads set up. The only problem I have is I'M NOT GOOD....LOL....if that don't impliment a matchmakeing system, cuz its gonna sux going up against way higher tier tanks. Also, seems like nobody knows what to do. Several games you can count on 5-8 tanks sitting back at the flag...not doing anything....ill give it some time, I'm not impressed yet or entertained....

The CEO of World of Tanks-developer Wargaming, Victor Kislyi, said that his team is working with Microsoft to streamline an "unacceptable" certification and quality assurance process in its effort to launch the popular free-to-play game (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/10/world-of-tanks-xbox-360-edition-out-this-summer/) on the Xbox 360 later this year.

Speaking with Polygon (http://www.polygon.com/2013/7/19/4537686/how-wargaming-is-making-the-xbox-better-and-what-the-future-holds) at PAX Australia, Kislyi said that the "frequent updates" required to tweak online games posed a challenge for Microsoft's current certification process, which takes "an extremely long time."

"Totally unacceptable for meaningful free-to-play," he said, promising his team was working with Microsoft to ensure "quicker updates."

"We will see, there is a lot of work on the technically side and on the administrative side which should resolve in the acceptable quality of the product, including updates of the product including speed and rates," Kislyi said, unable to confirm whether Microsoft will offer a similar streamlined certification process to other developers. When asked about other challenges his team may face bringing the previously PC-exclusive free-to-play game to consoles, Kislyi admitted making any predictions about the unreleased version was "not very wise."

Beta has not been to bad so far, as far as Beta's go. Of course there are growing pains, but IMO they have done a good job to work out connection issues so far.

Battle Field has spoiled me. The movement of the tanks is clunky and just pisses me off. If you lead the charge you are dead which is really frustrating. This game has lots of promise but I could also see them taking the feedback fro the beta and really jacking it up. I will play it and keep every one updated. If this was coming out in its current form today I would not buy it till it was down below $30.

Hey I'm not sure wife this beta is free to everyone, but is there any interest from the rest of the Xbox community? I really like the game but suck donkey balls playing solo. They seem to have made several improvements since beta launch, and at least they are still calling it a beta and not trying to pass it off as a full release and charging full price and saying it is a fantastic game with no issues......just saying ::cough..cough..DICE::

Ohhhh...fellas the grind is fucking real......don't get me wrong.. i really like this game. For the most part the game play mechanics really work well for console. And the matches for the most part are quick and to the point. The exp system, in my opinion, is one of the things that just pisses me off. But it doesn't compare to the other things that piss me off.
WoT as a whole, for a beta, is working well, but some of the things that they have implemented ruins the game for example:
Because after every battle you have to spend money to repair tanks and buy back your ammo and consumable, people who grind long and hard for those high tier tanks don't wanna die. and not for k/d per say, but because of the huge cost it takes to repair your shit. So when I, as a light/medium tanks go out to scout or provide support, randy teammates (we will call them RANDIE from now on) with their high tier heavy tanks.....just sit back in our spawn and hopeing to be able to hit another tank across the map with a shell or two. I'm not saying ALL randies do this but a large portion of them do.
Another thing is this matchmaking. After bitching about it it has been explained to me time and time again that its a beta and they just want people to play. Since there is s small portion of the community that have tier 10 tanks I guess they bitched about long cue times so the devs basically allowed tanks to go up 3-4 tiers. But it affect all tiers. So I'm running with a tier 3 light tanks, no armor, no fire power, just a fast little tank that can maneuver the battlefield. I load into a tier 6 match. I now have no way of doing damage and all it takes is ONE SHOT to die. Match last 3 min. No XP, no money. Just a loss.
Now all this coming from a relatively new player. All I want to do is gain ex and level up. But in my opinion if everything is based on experience and money, but getting that is based on this shit match making then i don't see any way I'll progress.
I'll continue to lay but for how long, I don't know. My frustration with some of the crap that goes on is enormous. And sometime overwhelming.

Matchmaking for scout tanks is different than for other tanks. Scout tanks can run battles up to 4 tiers higher than what they are. Artillery is the same. Now mediums, heavies, and TDs can be matched up to 2 tiers higher. The grinds are horrible, yes they take a lot of time. But in all reality they really aren't that bad.
What we need to do is get you into some games that can show you what those light tanks really can do. I will be on for a couple of hours tonight, so look for me and we will try to get you into some good matches. Also equipping the tanks help with how effective they are. Patience padawan, a Jedi is not made overnight.

The problem I have most of the time isn't with being stick on high tier games for the most part......it getting stuclk with teammates who are high tiers and don't play their rolls...I KNOW what a light tank can do....I have had several GREAT games as light tanks spotting 10-14 guys....but when my heavies and TDs are in the og spawn and I have NO back up..my life expectancy is very short. I have learned my rolls and what o need to do, but because not the above !mentioned I am usually stuck in my positions alone. I'm not talking about the game I've played with you guys, but it when I'm solo. As more the lights and Artie's going up 4 tiers and the TD and medium only 2...I beg to differ. My tier 5 PZ III and III/IV getting into 8 games is just ridiculous....even solo I get pulled into higher. But none the less ill accept your invitation to rock and roll tonight...as long as you leave your CHAFFE in the garage....lol...
And please if any of you other USMG guys get WoT let me know...if you hadn't done so...and you plan on keeping your 360 please do....I may be doing a lot of bitching...but it truley isn't that bad...

Well I am gonna have to take the Chaffee out for a spin, but I will make sure I do it solo or platooned with some higher tiers. I will not pull your lower tiered tanks into the high tier battles. Not intentionally, mind you. I have a couple of tier V tanks I need to work on so I will run those with you. Such as my Pz IV, and the Churchill, not to mention I just go out and have fun in the Wolverine. And always remember even though we platoon up, it don't mean we won't get put on team stupid. And don't forget 'You can't fix STUPID!' No matter how hard we try, we just can't.
