It has been determined that captain crunch has been impersonating a superior officer and will be punished under Article 134 of the UCMJ. Court Martial date forthcoming
Food nation provides the proof needed to proceed with a court martial
From Foodbeast comes the shocking revelation that our beloved Captain is technically a Commander. The three gold stripes on the cartoon character’s wrists reveal his position of Commander – one rank lower than each box of the sweetened breakfast advertises. It appears that our man never actually attained the rank of Captain during his service time. And yes, the company does officially list him as a sea captain (even claiming his full name is Horatio Magellan Crunch).

In Mr. Crunch's defense, I wish to declare that this photo was doctored by Former SoS Hilliary Clinton under direct order of President Barrack Obama during the Benghazi incident to cover up the captains involvement in overseeing the direct operational management of all Navy Personnel in USAFRICOM AOR. #illuminati

According to US Navy customs, the commanding officer of a sea-faring ship is referred to as "Captain" regardless of rank. Therefore if "Captain" crunch were using the title of "Captain" in the informal meaning, was the commanding officer of his ship, and did not actually wear the insignia of an O-6 or otherwise hold himself out to be an O-6, he would not be running afoul of any regulations.

The plot thickens. Now the question remains was there a superior officer on board, was there a full compliment of crew on his ship to bear witness to his authority to act as captain of said vessel

Funny you should mention that, as Gawker.com provides us the other half of that story.

As commanding officer of the S.S. Guppy, Horatio Magellan Crunch is fully within his rights to be addressed as Captain.

In light of this new evidence all charges have been formally dropped. However there are accusations that the S.S. Guppy has been smuggling Crunch Berries illegally into the United States
maybe he's Italian. Their Captains only have 3 bars.. Seems likely he's a foriegn captain; Have you ever seen an American Captain wear a goofy hat like that.. :llama::drum::redface:

George Dewey, he was an admiral, but I don't expect you'll notice. Unless you read this, in which case you are more observant than I gave you credit for

It seems the scandals for the breakfast cereal icons continue to build. TMZ reportedly found this leaked photo of the upcoming sex tape featuring Snap, Crackle, and Pop. Calls to their agents have went unanswered.
