Hey all,

I'm the president of SOF studios and retired Army special operations veteran. I'm in the process of making a shooter game with Award winning creative director, David Sears. David was the CD for SOCOM 1 & 2 Navy SEALs and most resent CD for Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots.

I need some help spreading the word on our Kickstarter campaign.

Of course you guys would help BETA test the game. After all, the tactical shooters are modeled after us, right? We are currently running a Kickstarter to begin our Playable Demo build which will help us with first party publishers and investors.

Thanks brother. I will look to groups like yours during the build. I'm also looking at doing strictly military appreciation nights. I just think with all us military guys and gals we can help shape the culture of our youth by modeling the principles we learned in the military.

Right now I need a muster over at our KS http://kck.st/14m9Leh and get involved. I'd love to see some military backers in the comment section of the campaign I think that would really stir up the gamers. The goal is 200K and we're almost at 100K. Some doubters on the backers side that we'll make it. Having the military "positive" attitude and never quit mentality is needed.

Also, I'm not sure if you guys can do this or not but I can set up an interview so the folks over here can talk with David about the PC style of game play that you'll expect to see when it comes out.

I took a day to digest the game overview. I have always looked for a pure team based (co-op) that can break the mold of the current 'run and gun' culture. I would be interested in some elaboration during the interview, (if they have time,) on what sets this apart from other FPS games.
Unfortunately, the only one I seen that came close was the (abbreviated, but more realistic) Operation Flashpoint series. They fell apart, I think because sometimes realism doesn't sell enough, to all gamers.
More value on support and 'Team' rather than the dude with a hundred kills and 99 deaths, would be nice.

M.A.G. - Hells Yeah! I miss the days where we had to jump through hoops to get more than 8 in our group, then divide and conquer to lock down multiple objectives and take out assets. I have yet to find a game that offered so many team based "Oh shit" moments! :pop2:

I remember playing the first Rainbow Six and thinking how awesome it was to be able to control your whole fire team, pick entry and extraction points, and have them halt at check points. That was over 15 years ago. I can just imagine what this game will be able to do.
