Just a little FYI...PSN users starting 12.30PM ET tomorrow, June 25 (9.30AM PT, 5.30PM Brit-time). Regular services are scheduled to return 7PM ET (4PM PT, midnight Brit-time).
The PS Store, Home, and account management are off-limits during the downtime, but you can get online with games and apps if you log on to PSN before the maintenance begins.

They don't typically last that long. The times listed are the window they've allotted and while the start time is usually on schedule, the completion time is whenever it's completed. So it will be back up no later than the listed time but probably sooner, they post on the blog and Twitter when it's done

Ahhh, gotcha. That makes sense.
