I'm sure it won't be someone with a funny name either. I've seen a couple good ones kicking around there.

Well they will have plenty of time to develop the character with season 2 being a year out

Part of it may be due to the timing of the green light for a second season...probably have bigger budget to play with now too...plus they have to get all of the DLC out there to fill in the gap from the end of season one to the start of season two

Well I have heard rumor that the rough drafts of the script has already been written but if you look at all the good cable shows out there they have the series then a long break before the next season. Example longmire, sons of anarchy and walking dead. Probably has to do with recording the new stuff

I'm sure, it has a to be a time intensive show to make, between costumes, makeup, and special effects it can't be quick

Did you notice Rynn said she heard about Nolan, out west? The best thing about the game is how it ties in with the show. I'll probably be done with NHL '13 this week so I'll be back on Defiance by the weekend.

Aren't most show seasons yearly? It's certainly not just AMC or FX. Big Bang Theory is yearly, all of USA's stuff is yearly, NCIS is yearly, with like a month break mid-season.

Guess I don't understand. What show is different?

Which would indicate a timeslot/season bump. Happens quite often for new shows.
