I just bought this yesterday and must say it's pretty fun so far even if I can't get past the angry mob.
I played magic way back in high school and wanted to relive the nerd days without spending tons of money buying cards. Its kinda like starcraft where you can unlock your portraits by doing crazy stuff or you can use a camera for your portrait tough that's a bit far for me hah.
By doing the campaign you can unlock cards and new decks. There's foil packs, but im not sure how those work yet.
feel free to send an invite if you want play :D

Never got into Magic, but you make it sound somewhat fun. How much was it?

It was 800 points, not too bad, same price as a booster pack hehe. It's pretty neat, I don't know how to play so the campaign teaches you how to, gives tips and hints, then kicks your butt over and over again after the tutorial hehe. As for against other players, I beat one person who must have been new like me then I got owed badly the next two times hehe so I think I'll wait to unlock more of the deck.

I played in high school then picked it up again with some spec ops guys I used to fly with. I also dabbled in the 2010 or 11 version. My only complaint was not enough control over your deck on that version.

I might pick this up. Maybe for PS3 and maybe for PC. haven't decided yet. Although there are some extra awesome things in the PC version I hear.
Buddy of mine got me hooked on 2013 so when 2014 came out I immediately got it. I really enjoy it. I've never played the hard deck or real game before but I figure this is better since for ten bucks I got more cards, I can play with friends online, and I don't have to worry about having to do the things I would have to do if I had actual cards, like shuffle, keep clean/safe, place in specific orders on board and whatnot. I think it's a good game and can't complain about the price since I'd blow more at Hardee's trying new burgers.

Hehe yeah, I suck at shuffling and to get started its a few hundred to get enough cards to play decent against others. Definitely a fun campaign so far, its rewarding to beat the final boss each stage. I've tried a few more online games but got pwned so bad lol.

Been playing Magic since I was a kid and it first started. I play on 360 and PC. Have not tried the 2014 yet, will soon.
