Probably the best 8 minutes of ANY proceedings for ANYTHING I've ever heard! If you laced up boots for just one day, or if you've ever supported someone who did, please watch this and share it. It is something to behold.

I know this would probably qualify to go under the viral listing in the entertainment forum, but I wanted to put it out here for everyone to see. This is to epic not to share.

It is in the National Guard too. People hop on these tit deployments to GITMO and Kuwait, just so they can file a claim.

I have always wondered how many of these claims are real. This just shows that there could be way to many that are not real.
The problem is that if you get to stringent them the men and women who rely deserve it might get skipped over of have to wait years to get their due compensation

One of my buddies works in contracting and told me that a business that is owned by a disabled vet gets priority for government contracts. So he's pretty much trying to fuck the government twice.

I was lumping them all in, active, guard and reserves ;) not all of them are bs, but many were preexisting conditions.

I would caution all those that feel that our Disabled Veterans are "milking" (or other derogatory terms) the 'system'... There are a few that do this, as in any governmental assistance program. BUT, (a big BUT) most of our Disabled Veterans deserve their benefits to compensation for injuries incurred or aggravated by their service to the Country.
Unfortunately, as mentioned in this thread, it is the small few that abuse the system, that keeps those deserving compensation from getting in a timely fashion (or at all).
