Just heard about this from Linus tech tips... They say its way better than anything else ...its for gaming and its FREE!!! Anybody hear of this? Looks good

Anyone on PC using this besides me? its a great program and it is better then vent. save the community money instead of paying for a vent server.

Me and bonesaw tried it out and its a good program so far. Far better then vent for audio quality and server stability, and its free.

Most betas are free. I wouldn't expect it to stay that way.

I'll give it audio quality. vent has always been lacking in codecs, however, not sure how you can measure server stability on something that just came out.. We've been using our vent server on Typefrag since January 4th, 2013 and its only been down 1 time for maintenance. That's 1 (15 minute) outage in 240-250 days.. IMO - That's pretty stable.

In terms of price, i'll agree with spyder.. most beta's are free, once they go to general release, I bet we will see a price schedule of some kind. I could see perhaps a free price, but I bet it would be limited to like 5 seats.

It will be interesting to see what happens, but I'm not gonna cancel our vent server just quite yet. :madgrin::popcorn:
