WOW!! That's epic! Great find!

I'd suggest to all of you who want to partake in this to black out your SSN on your forms before sending it in. Just a good, common sense practice. There shouldn't be any reason that they'd need your SSN, I would think.

Men's wearhouse is doing something similar as a trade-in deal.

There is a typo in the copy. Don't people read these things before they put them out? :) Good program though.

That's awesome! What exactly is a "statement of service"?

Probably a DD-214. That's a certificate of release, but that's what most places look for.

I would think a National Guard NGB-22 would suffice as well.

This was also posted in the Veterans Info thread as well as the explanations of 'statement of service'... and Yes, it is different than the DD-214....

Thanks, I registered. Now I have to wait for my activation code to come in the mail.

Should be a number to call if you want immediate activation.... Once you activate you will have access to many of your records... You will be able to print a signed copy of 'statement of service' letter, disability verification letter, and other useful letters. You can access 'MyHealthVet' for VA medical assistance, appointments, and pharmacy activities. You can request many services... HOWEVER, if you don't know about some items ASK.
As I said in my Veteran's Info thread... It is just a tool in the tool box for Active Duty and Former Service members.

They do this periodically, I haven't kept up with it. I would check the Jos. A. Bank or Gary Sinise websites.

They had a buy 1 get 2 free deal recently but I went with a nicer suit for half off.

I just recently discovered this is a good place to go for bodyguard suits. They'll do custom suits with lining designed for people who carry guns. :)
