XBOX1 is my next big purchase and with that being said I have no plans on buying anymore games for the 360. If I had a PC that would run BF4, ESO, and SKYRIM I would forgo the X1 and focus on that. But alas I don't, I'm lazy and enjoy the ease of use in a console and because I don't like wrapping my big hands around a mouse and keyboard.

I see a lot of people on/using the PS3 and going PS4. If I could get my hands around the small controller, (yes it is too small for me, My hands cramp) I might be on board. Even with the new controller its still too small and the thumbsticks are in akward positions.

Yes I'm def still picking up Madden 25 and GTA 5 for 360. Haven't completely put a fork in her yet. But majority of my savings are going towards paying off my XB1

Honestly, I can't see a reason to go XBone. With MS backpedaling on the only policies that gave them a leg up, the only advantage MS has is a few exclusives like Halo.

XBOX -1 , pre ordered. I heard from some guy that works at gamestop that they are gonna let us buy the new BF4 on XBOX 360 and then when the XBOX-1 comes out they were gonna give us $50 for our used game and then we could get the one for the new console. It would be kinda like renting the game for a few weeks at a charge of $10. So has anyone heard this same thing, If they do that how many of you are gonna go for it? I will, for $10, good deal...

There are a dozen or so articles covering this, including 2 or 3 in this forum. If you buy an xbox 360 copy of CoD Ghosts, AC4, BF3, Madden 25, and a couple other games, you can trade them in for the xbone version, for $10.
Its in print, its officially released, and both MS & GS have announced it.

Not that I have heard yet. Just confirmed by MS right now. I think they would eventually follow suit, but Sony is probably dark corner mcdoogling trying to find a way to try to one-up MS.

Another time my G13 stopped working and I don't know the key binds on a regular keyboard for shit, so that was fun. Ahh the joys of the PC platform, usually it's worth it though. I need a new video card if I want to crank the graphics up a bit. Seems like high settings are ok but ultra, no way.
On PS3, I can't seem to get a hang of the controls. Was I using an alternate setup on BF3 or did they move everything around without an option to revert to the old setup? I hate it the way it's set up right now but I guess I'll get used to it.
Aside from the normal beta headaches, seems really solid. I like the Shanghai CQ map, it's very 3D, all kinds of vehicles, and avenues of approach which are pretty cover-heavy.
I might be on later if people are on but the freezing and stuff already made me rage back to watching TV lol. I need a chill pill or something.

I had the loading issue too then rebooted and it seemed ok again. I got on a map with one other guy as an enemy and we walked thru it to help some.

Did you update your drivers? I was getting 20fps prior to installing the new driver. Now I'm getting 50-55 fps on ultra with a m17x laptop. What video card you using?

I'm using two 560s in SLI with the default high settings. It runs pretty smooth, but starts to chug in certain spots. Im couple of drivers behind, probably should update them.
Just played couple of rounds with raging. I tried to try out each of the vehicles. The tanks are AWESOME, there are also distinct differences between the M1 and the Chinese type 99. The Chinese MBT can accelerate like a bat out of hell. While the M1 is slower but can seem to take more damage.
I'll write some more when I'm at my desk tomorrow.

7 hours in and I'm only level 3. It's gonna take a long time to rank up in this game.
It took me freaking forever to get up to SNCO ranks in BF3. But by that time I was loving it, so I didn't notice. It is slow at first.
I had division Staff duty on Monday. I got it all downloaded yesterday to my ps3 but fell asleep waiting for it to install. Hopefully I'll get to check it out today.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm so much worse at the BF titles on PC than I am on PS3.... For some reason, I just can't get my shit together even though I'm more familiar with the PC controls.

Lol you should see the graph of my K/D and Score per minute. I sat at about 0.9 KD for about 9 months, and my SPM was half of what it is now for most of that period.

lol, I remember hearing someone asking that over the built in VOIP. Wasnt sure it was you.
Anyway, it was a combination of luck, where to place the SABOT rounds, and when to back up. It was Two M1s and the LAV.
At first all 3 of them didn't pay any attention to us.
Put two rounds into rear of the first M1, he was disabled, then exploded.
Mowed down couple of infantry that were encroaching on us with the coax.
Put a round into the right rear of the LAV disabling him, they got out to repair, killed them with the coax and put another SABOT round in to finish off the empty vehicle.
Second M1 took notice and bounced a round off our frontal armor.
Backed up into cover
defended our position couple of seconds.
An engineer on our team put a RPG into the rear of the M1 disabling him, I moved out of cover and finished him off with a SABOT.
All the while you were up top rocking the .50 and killing everything you saw.
Just another day in Battlefield ;) Man I love this game!
On that note, I have noticed the mounted .50 and DShKa's are very weak. Taking 5-8 hits on the foot mobile to take them out. The base PDW on the engineer can kill with less hits(9mm or .45 carbine). This doesn't make sense to me.

And I'm not joking about that if the area is pretty clear and the targets are distracted, it's that weak. I'm sure you probably heard my subdued rage in VOIP on that subject. It's ridiculous.
I guess I didn't notice the M1 round glancing, saw the flash and thought we were done but we lived and he blew right up, worked out pretty freaking well.

I'm already on PS4 with Havok as well as a couple others. I know at least three more that are prob soon to be on PS4 also when they get a system.

That'll be me, but not sure when. We got a deer with our minivan, so the $500 deductible ate my PS4 money. :(

Oh man. Those are the worst kind. We had one run off once before my friend's dad could show up with his .38. So what do we do? Get in the truck and high tail it after the deer through the woods; I was in the backseat and my friend was driving. His dad was hanging out the passenger side window trying to take pot shots at the deer as we were bounding over the rough terrain.
Good times.

Yeah man, that's pretty much it. It was their friends' property so they gave him the heads up beforehand. I just didn't know people actually did shit like that. It was wild. Then my buddy backed his dad's truck into a tree (just tapped it, only dented/scratched the bumper a little bit) trying to turn around in the woods and it got not so fun for just a moment. Plastered redneck with a .38 in the passenger seat and you just backed his baby into a tree.... But he didn't get too pissed. We didn't get the deer though.

I just like playing on the Xbox better. I know others feel different but its just how it is for me. Plus the PS controllers are just too small to me.

Now I've done it....I went and picked BF4 up for the X1....this is going to be a display in horrific online play. I was pretty much beaten into submission mentally until I bought it lol, couldn't get used to BF3 so I got rid of it. Lets see how this goes...anyone need a health pack?

Yay!!!! Welcome to the dark side. Just stick it out. Only took me about 3.5 months to get my K/D positive in BF3 when I was just getting used to it. If you're a better player than I was, it might not take that long. Plus, there's so much more to Battlefield than K/D.

Yeah I had a coworker nag me to get it till I broke down lol, he only has an X1 so grabbed it on there. I haven't been online yet, started the campaign and I like it better than 3 already...not that I played that one long because I was so horrific at the campaign that I got rid of it. I should be on later tonight at some point to start the massacre of my soldier
