Hi All, per the post I left on the platoon homepage, all members are asked to check-in this weekend, or risk, being accidentally removed from the BF3 platoon.

Yes, many of them on there are not part of USMG forums.
I may start hopping on every once in a while but I prefer PC.

I would REALLY like to get an eagle eye system though for my ps3.. :lol:

I've been thinking about getting something like that.... But then again I'm not sure what sort of ROI I'll get considering I'm going with PC for BF4.
I do seem to have some better streaks on the console but I suck just about equally at both.
In the end, I'd rather play with people I know as opposed to pugging all day, so that means I'll probably be on PS3 if I start playing BF3 again but I'm not sure. Such a hectic schedule lately, it's been hard to even think about playing.

I had asked that question in the past and I believe I was told they were added due to the drop in USMG presence in game. I believe there is a thread somewhere here stating that. I'll search for it.

I'm confused because on the PS3 USMG team link you posted it showed Tapgrillz and other (KING) members, but I don't show them on our platoon roster?

Platoon roster as in http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2832655240981119785/listmembers/ ? Take a look at http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2832655240981119785/ smoke started the first round of cuts. The database on our stats will update to not show these.

I could have used your 1014 skills last night! I jumped on the TK clan server, and their clan was split on both sides. One map was rush on metro, which is usually a spawn trap, but not so running with these guys! It was one of the greatest metro games I've played. We were defending, and we lost the first 2 sets, but held the 3rd barely. We had them to 0 tickets, but the objective was lit. We all just had to kamikaze to get one in to defuse. EPIC!

Come back to Xbox! I think this is the first time (the past month-2 months) that Xbox has outnumbered PS3 consistently since Battlefield dropped.

You don't need a mic to squad up with us. Heck, most of the time when I'm on at night, my wife's asleep next to me so I'm never mic'd up. Trust me, a non-mic'd USMG player is better than any random we get on our squad. I think I have you on my PSN friends?

Got the mic working just had to add a little solder to the wires(headphone broke of so wires are hanging out) that fixed a short circuit. Played with a couple of you last night and got my ass kicked by Nordell and his tank.

Yeah I'd seen you jumped in with us, and that first server sucked. I was bored working on my helo sniping. I was mic'd up earlier in the night, but when I came back I had to go silent. I seen your mic icon when we were squaded up later, and was thinking "damn that was fast"...LOL!

Although last night was pretty awesome. Havok was defending on rush at Damavand Peak, and we pushed them back to the hills where you have the walls in front of the objectives. He was standing behind the wall, and I ran up the front of the wall and dropped behind and tagged him! Most epic tagging ever! :dance:

Yes that was a badass game! I remember I was pissed because you tagged me at the very last moment possible!
Rolling with USMG is awesome, but when I see we have a full squad or almost full, I purposely jump to the other team. Hunting down family for tagging and bagging is SO MUCH FUN!! Even if I'm losing my tags, it's still a rush because revenge kicks in! :ahurt:

I'll be on here in a bit hopefully I can do as good as I did last night. Got a squad wipe by tagging out an entire 4 man squad on Seine Crossing right before you jumped in Ironhide.
I'm downloading BF3 on my PS3 right now, ended up being cheaper then the disc and expansion packs. Do you guys have any advice in switching from call of duty? I only played single on BF3 for PC

Exactly.. Play behind the front line on rush, toss med packs, as assault, or ammo as support. Just get the feeel for tempo, and progression..
You'll level up fast, pick a class you like after a sample of all, and then focus on 1 class, with 1 weapon. get comfy, and then pick an assignment..
by that time, you'll get a good feel, and start..

Great time running with Havok, Ironhide, and Gunnut last night. I had a bit of rust, but not as much as I feared. We picked up the ace squad ribbon a couuple of times, so I can't complain too much. :cool:

THAT WAS COMPLETE BS!! I thought that was you I was getting ready to tag, and it even started the animation, then it shows you turn around and I get tagged, just as the screen fads for end of game! :frusty:

I had a really good run after the three of us disbanded in a team deathmatch on Tehran Highway. Had one guy run directly into my knife while I took out three of his buddies. :):)

I had plenty of targets, and for the most part was doing fairly decent. There's always plenty of targets atop the cranes and buildings at Delta. Kinda like duck hunt, sniper addition.

Have you actually played a game yet? You MUST play a Multiplayer game before you can even apply or be invited to a platoon.

Yes I have played multiplayer. It is the only thing I have played so far. The first day I got it I played with Ironhide, river rat, and a couple of other people. And when I click on the apply button bit says it has been disabled by the leader or something like that.

No clue when I'll be able to get on. The wife decided to watch one of my buddies kids until their mom gets home from work because he is in the field. She just hijacked my PS3 to play movies for the kids. Sigh, last time they were over they played zombies with me on BO2 but she even killed that. PS Love the Billy Madison clip.

I work at Target unloading trucks and stocking shelves. We have a line that we have to push the boxes down as the go to the various bays where they will be put on pallets. I palletize pet products. I was grabbing a thing of dog food when my supervisor shovesas hard as he can, 2 cases of Tidy Cats litter right into my hand( a case is 2 of the big jugs of litter in a box) each case weighs 50 lbs. Hurt like sonuvabitch cuz it pinned my hand between those and several boxes of dumbelles.

Didn't get on because we went to go see one of my wifes uncles that she hadn't seen in over 10 years. He has his Class III ffl so I got to shoot his Ma Deuce, his AK47( according to the serial numbers 5th one to come off the assembly line in 1947 complete certificate of authenticity from the Russian government), his M60 and his 1945 German STG. I wanted to shoot his civil war era Gatling gun but he said didn't have enough ammo to really do it justice. I was like a kid in a candy store the entire time I was at his house.

Hell I think that's the first time I've been mic'd up and on a halfway communicating team on PS3, went from .62 to .69 K/D in just a couple hours (yeah I know it sucks but pugging and PTFOing is a bad combo). It was a lot of fun, except for that game where the PS3 froze.... That's happening more and more lately; it's clean and the airways are unobstructed, is it just taking a dump on me?
I'll probably be on more often from now on, it was a ton of fun. Do you guys normally pop on during the week too?

BF3 goes through spurts with me and locking up. I can go weeks without any lockup, then get 1 or 2 in a couple days. I'm sure your PS3 is fine, it's probably BF3. I don't have the lockup issue on any other game.
I'm on most evenings around 9:30ish CST. I usually find Nordell, Mjolnir, Havok, or Goose online, with a few others hit or miss. Gaming with us on BF3 can make a shitty game AWESOME! :high5: Always fun to be had.....dip dip

You're correct, their ID's are different. It gets very confusing when trying to manage our platoon. So to answer your question, yeah it'd be easier to add from our threads.
The only thing I use BL for is to track my weapon/challenge progression, and to manage my loadouts. Loadouts are much easier to manage from BL, and it gives me something to do during downtime at work. Otherwise, I think we only use it for promo purposes for USMG.

I just did that yesterday for a little bit with you guys when I got home from work and she was on the phone. I got blown out of the water for it. Even after making dinner while it cooked and I took her out to a nice place in Waikiki Sunday. Good luck and hopefully I get to that 15 year attitude soon.

My wife is japanese and has her own games on the 3DS which we do play together sometimes but all in all she leaves me alone when I am playing. Guess I got lucky hooking up with some one who comes from the land of video games

I believe the original USMG server was run by SGT Nordell. He let that expire. Havok had one, then he took over hosting the Battlefield Friends Server.
That server is listed as "Official Battlefield Friends Server Hosted by USMilitaryGamers.com" (or something like that).
