So who is still waiting on the DLC, it took them a very long time to roll it out but i do believe it will be well worth it...8/20/13 we are waiting for you......So what are some thoughts out there on this.....Are you still down, are you over it......What side of the fence do you fall on.......

Lost interest awhile back and never really picked it back up. Depending on the reviews of the DLC to see if I will give it another go

I didn't play the game for a couple of months just to wait and see if some new missions or updates would come out for it. When I started it back up nothing new. Don't think I will be continuing this game any time soon.

Come on guys and gals........Only 19 people out of our whole family viewed this thread.....There are twice as many people on right this min......Then out of 19 who looked at it only 2 had an opinion one way or the other(Thanks Snake & Sledge)....Lets get this thread going. The release is only 2 days away now..So how about it, I am setting out a personal challenge to every member in our USMG family......get involved, you have to have an opinion one way or the other......It is fun to be a part of stuff, try it....come on, ya you, i am watching you.........push reply.............lol

I'm waiting for it to drop, just haven't been playing as much these last few weeks because of school. I'll be on tomorrow to try and finish the replay

I'll be playing Defiance again once the DLC drops. Can't wait to slice through some hellbugs with my shiny new charge sword!

I'm just hoping it doesn't add to any glitch problems (but not holding my breath). I am itching to play again and will be on more starting this week now that I have the kids back from their dad and all the back to school stuff done.

I love the game and the concept of the tie in, I just haven't had time to play, I hope my PS3 buddies are still playing

I am still playing regularly (daily) and trying to claw my way up to a respectable EGO rating. I have concentrating on leveling up weapons, and have started going back to try to do some rampages, races, and so forth. I can tell I am getting better no matter my EGO Rating. I have played through it again too.
Oh yes, I am waiting with much anticipation and trepidation for the DLC to drop. I will be online and waiting. I thought something was happening a couple of nights ago with a 45 minute download, but I have no idea what that was about. I am not sure how our avatars are going to handle hand to hand or hand to blade.
I am rather "curious" as to how some avatars on xbox360 can hang suspended about 20 feet off the ground. I swear to god an avatar jumped out of his car, hung in mid air, and saluted me a couple of weeks ago. No, I was not drinking or smoking anything. I did laugh but I don't want to try to sword fight someone I cannot even reach. (I am not very tall in real life so this is just..."special.")

Yeah same happened to me error after error then says server busy with a 58 min wait.
The Shanje Liro is really hard any one got some tips?
Just beat the Shanje Liro you get a 2000 point bonus for finishing all 5 rounds. It's 5000 points for silver so all you need is 3000 by the end of round 5.

Dude that sucks Defiance is a fun game but there are way too many issues. It's a testament to how much I like this game that I still play it.

Love defiance at first, but its not a pick up and play. Everytime I log OS get some long as patch update wich takes away from what little time I do have to play. Nonetheless I update log in, and bang....no changes. To me the game has way to many flaws that makes it unplayable. I'm not one to buy slc unless I can't stop playing the game, like bf3.

One of the best resources for LVLing weapons in the game. Also, if you're trying to get gold in the arenas use a infector with a smg or an assault .

Let me put it this way...I did the arenas enough to buy the "starter sword" and I now have enough to buy another. I made silver on the first arena but the second and third- only bronze so far. I need to make silver to complete the contract.
I wonder...with the new season of Defiance...if there is some kind of tie in with the alien technology in the bottom of that mine? Nim is the only one I have seen flashing a sword, and now we are getting swords. Somebody is really going to a "bad ass" if they beat Nim with a sword. Somehow these arenas must be tied in...maybe the stuff Irisa is getting into. That would make sense I think.

You've done more arena than me. I some how managed to get gold on the second one and wasn't even trying lol. The third was a pain in the ass. I don't even have a charge blade yet.....back to the arena with me

I second this ^ statement....I was having trouble and someone in game mentioned to use the same set up so i did and after a few tries i ended up with GOLD in all but the middle arena.....

If you have any mods (lvl 3 mods preferable) for it, (to bump up overall stats) then throw them on. Keep in mind that every little bit helps. Also mix it up with your grenades, if you have a pyro , infector or frag-surge grenade use it. Actually all three are great.
The key to Gold in any of the arenas is to keep your multiplier going. Kill the weaker enemies to keep your multiplier going and finish the big ones off for massive points. Gold in every arena!

Perfectly put Klaws...If you do not keep that mutliplier up to 7+ then it will not happen.....Then find the biggest guy there and kick its ASS( just like in school, lol ) and watch the points go up up up.........

That's why you use the infector. the bugs keep the multi up...no fuss no muss.

Thanks man, I really look forward to getting on and playing with you all. I played a little Last of Us today but after like 5 min I paused it and came back like 30 min later forgetting it was even on. It sucks not playing. I will be on this weekend though I am going to have to get on and update before then though.
