Not trying to be the negative nancy but Beachhead is working uphill IMO, ELITE hasn't been a user friendly operation since it's inception so they really need to step their game up and be ready for the masses, CoD is the fastest selling franchise of all-time... you are going to need a lot of servers.
Clan-wise I am glad they are bringing back the competitive side of things, seems almost like a Grand Theft Auto "take over the hood" kind of thing. It has the potential but once we are balls deep in the fox hole then I'll form an opinion.
So I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worse. Sad I know...
After MW2 I was ready to quit COD and switch to Battlefield but MW3 really roped me back in. So I'm staying optimistic with this one. They were still working out the bugs with Elite for MW3 and didn't do much with it for BO2 but I don't think Elite will make or break the game anyway I'm more concerned with the MP.

I'll be back into COD when Ghosts drops. Gotta get my camp on you guys almost had me believing run n gun was the way but I just love camping too much.

The only reason why I say this, is because of the uptick in players for BF and them saying they are going to move from CoD to BF.
But i'll, of course, we'll be back in action once this game drops

You could still try out Battlefield AND CoD, and then realize which one is better after the fact...

This does look pretty cool, but the implementation is everything. Is our clan still Lvl 50 or 100 or whatever top is? Do they reset after each game?

Agreed. I will be one of the ones that is active in game and recruiting, I think we will have a strong enough presence
What do you mean lvl 100? They had a separate lvl system for BO2 why wouldn't they for Ghosts. That should put all the clans on equal footing plus there might even be new clan unlocks.

That's because I didn't want or like to play BF3 =P.
What concerns me about clan participation is how split are we going to be between the two consoles or are they going to combine stats?

The fact that stats transfer as you upgrade would suggest its not a problem. We'll have to see though.

Yea it's not the transferring part I worry about either. It's how many are not going to convert. Having the xbox crowd split over two generations could be an issue unless they combine stats of the two generations into one for Elite. I could see them doing that. I could also see them splitting the stats in Elite. I guess we'll find out more when the time comes.

I agree with that ^ also....Well said. If they do not come out swinging for the fences they will have a hell of a time playing catch up this time, Way to many people are waiting this time.........I know people that are BF only players and are getting this one because of the stuff it will be able to do........

What i understand it to be is that you will be able to go back and forth from XBOX to XBOX 1 because all of our stuff will be on the COD server not on our consoles. That way if we go some place and they have not upgraded yet we will still be able to play by logging in there XBOX into our elite account in the game.........I might not have understood it properly so don't bet the farm on it but I am pretty sure that is the jist of it........

In the reveal it said they were combined. So those playing on 360 and those playing on XB1 all go towards the same clan stats

I believe after reading it I get that you can play the game on the 360 and it contributes to elite clan and ten when you switch over to X1 it still contributes the same but not double dipping if that makes sense....

Should just need one for each platform ie PS and Xbox. If their is a clan op/war scheduled for set time then all the stats earned on either Xbox1 or 360 go towards the Xbox clan, etc. that's what they said at least. I just hope they have all the kinks worked out and we don't have to wait as long after release to do them. They advertised clan ops before MW3 was released in Nov 11 but it took until February 12 before they did anything with them.

I think in regards to the clan issue we have the umbrella clan then under that u have the 360 and the X1 since we can't cross chat or play same game instance together he was referring to having some one help lead the ops on each system not starting ya new clan .... Clarified better?

Oh, understand that conpletely.....I just don't think that's where he was going.
Unless we try to preform teams well beforehand, though, its kinda unnecessary. Announcements and registration would all be coordinated here as usual, and people would just group up and play based on their console.

Meaning , our Playstation, XBox, and PC brothers/sisters can play together against each other or possibly as a team. This and dedicated servers for all platforms means I am officially excited for COD and its been a while since that happened. I don't know if anyone else is down but I will be playing this pretty much exclusively until Titanfall'ish time frame so if we can get some people that want to play as an organized group we can most definitely become a competitive squad once again.

Fair enough question... I am going to think positively mainly because of the trailer they recently posted (link below). It states in "fine print" when talking about the cross-platforming that it will not be available on Nintendo and it doesn't say anything about only system to system. I don't expect to play with other people on different consoles at the same time but Clan Ops (territories and so on) would be a good enough start. Eventually, especially with dedicated servers, this could be a thing but I think we will have to wait for the new consoles to be out for a little while.
