I agree Brian. They can seek the death penalty, then we will be forced to pay for the guy to stay in prison for decades.

Yea it's pretty ridiculous that our taxes will pay for him to love because the government won't enact the death penalty for his crimes

I agree Brian. They can seek the death penalty, then we will be forced to pay for the guy to stay in prison for decades.

There should be two categories of death penalities:

One for heinous crimes where they were convicted, but there was only small amounts of evidence (small amounts of witnesses, small DNA evidence). They get appeals for awhile.
The other where there are large public witnesses, video evidence, or they are proud of what they did. They should get very quick executions after conviction.
