So I've decided to up the ante and raffle off a personal item to support USMG's Extra-Life fundraising effort. This collectible Hamilton Star Wars plate is in mint condition. I have kept it in storage since receiving it many years ago. Aside from these pictures, it has NEVER been out of the plastic sleeve it was packaged with (picture may appear washed out due to camera flash). Comes with a certificate of authenticity and folding wooden stand. I will cover the shipping costs to anywhere in the United States, APO, FPO, and US territories.
As of this posting, I am halfway to my goal of $200. I am asking for a $5 donation per each raffle ticket ($5 = 1 ticket, $10 = 2 tickets, etc.). I will randomly draw the winner at midnight (eastern time) during the Extra-Life marathon. If you have any questions about the plate, feel free to ask.

Much respect man, I have seen the tolls of terminal illness in Children at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, having to watch fathers in tears explain to there little 8 year old girl that she won't be coming home. Heartbreaking. Makes you hate yourself for even being alive when they won't be.
That would really look awesome in my bar! :madgrin:

Okay ladies and gentlemen, it's time for me to follow Bulletman's lead and announce the winner of the collectible plate.
Before I do that, I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me this year. Win, lose, or draw, I had fun matching up with a bunch of you on PS3 and rolling strong. Looking at the amount we all raised together, it's safe to say that it is an achievement to behold. I've said it before and I'll say it again...there is no place like USMG!

In the meantime, I'm trying to work out a date to drive this up to Pittsburgh to deliver it to Mike. Anyone else in commuting distance to Pittsburgh....prepare for a meet-up (read: drink-up) opportunity.:cool:

I think instead of doing a raffle, you guys should do auctions.. highest bidder, wins. I could add an auction system to the site.. could be a ton of fun.

OH, that would be AWESOME! I really appreciate everyone who created raffles and promos for Extra Life this year, but it was getting hectic for me trying to keep up with all of them! Auctions would be much easier to manage and keep updated from a promotional standpoint. :pop2:
