I've been playing Terraria on 360 for a while and then recently got it on steam since the update is not looking like it's coming to 360 side, and wanted to check in to see what was said here about it. Surprisingly the search feature came up with nothing. So either no one has commented on it or the search feature is not working as it has before. Either way, about the game.

The game is somewhat like Minecraft in which you dig and explore caves to gather/make loot. Only it is a 2d platformer. It is filled with bosses, with there own loot drops, and has a vast array of playing (or combat rather) options to choose from, being range, melee, or magic. All in all it is cheap and rather enjoyable if you like the open miner-esc gamestyle. And with the updates that came out a couple weeks ago, that nearly doubled the items to loot, you'll be filled with hours of hunting and gathering tools and items. Game is awesome and recommend to anyone.

Thanks for the review! Would you say this is kid friendly? and does it have a multi-player mode? I only watched a brief part of the video you posted. It doesn't seem my cup of tea, but it might be worth a look for some.
Thanks again.
Mike

Kid friendly in content is a yes, the game gets quite a bit more difficult as you play through though. Multiplayer on 360 is just plug and play but on pc its a bit more complicated as you have to download a free server and set up your ports.
