Getting down to the facts we know politicians are corrupt and with the upcoming default of our countries debt could they possibly do what most citizens have been waiting for? I know we all have our opinions on the current events going on with some of our community furloughed, so anxious after military.com said we could possibly not get paid if our country defaults, etc. what do y'all think? How do y'all feel about our current situation?

I was watching an msnbc vid the other day and I don't remember the guys name but he went off about what the pres should do and IMO he has a valid point

Its bullshit, obviously none of those morons knows basic math. This was inevitable, and tragic. I'm really sorry for all of our active duty service members and reservist who depend on their paychecks.

We've essentially gone from a free society to a socialist/communist society in the past two weeks, and it makes me very sad to call myself an american right now.

I think they all should go back to college to take accounting and business courses so they can learn how to make a balanced budget. Obviously these people know nothing about how a business should run, by business I mean the US should be treated as such. Instead they are acting like 5 yr olds after somebody stole their milk, its ridiculous and sickening that these people are in charge of such a large entity. Honestly if I had the ability to balance the budget they would all try and assassinate me because I would cut all of their pay as the first way to help balance it.

Anyway, as much as I would like to see the government come up with a quick fix for this, I fear that this is just the beginning of a long drawn-out string of BS that we are about to witness. IMO you can't blame any specific side for this mess we are in, like Despicable said, they can do math they all knew what the situation looked like but because one party can't get their way they are going to call for an impeachment and use the cover that it is "hurting Americans."

I don't consider myself terribly political, I try to stay entirely neutral and observe what all sides are doing and base opinions on what I think would be right for America. This situation is all a bunch of cock-up and we should politely dismiss all of the senators and congressman from their positions. The government needs to apply more effort into getting us back to a working system and spend less time worrying about their own pockets and security.

When that reset button hits I fear for all of us. I wish I could buy some guns but can't until tax season if returns even happen this year lol.
