Hey guys it's whit3c3ll aka DJ and I'm here to share a story that can give you guys a better understanding of what makes us a family here and what the meaning of "it's about the gamer next to you". Day 1
Took him to the ER after he ate some blueberry waffles and the swelling started. Well the docs gave home epinephrine, Benadryl, and Tylenol thinking it was a food allergy can't deny I thought the same.

Day 2
After the day prior thinking we were good to go I get a call from my wife saying that the swelling started again before he could eat anything. So we took little man back to the ER and they stuck to saying it was an allergic reaction even when I asked them what if it wasn't they didn't want to entertain the fact that they may have been wrong. Well Jon (my son) wasn't improving at all so after talking with family about what they thought I called doccupcake aka Jeff even with everything he was going through he took the time to give me help. After seeing the pictures above he told me his opinions on the situation and told me to call Tricare and attempt to get an earlier appt for Jon because the swelling wasn't improving. So I did just that and after talking to a gentleman they had me and my wife wait til morning to try for an appointment.
Today
Wife woke up and luckily was able to get an appointment. My son was seen by an awesome family practitioner who after taking his time and actually looking over my son and agreeing that the ER docs were too stubborn to admit they were wrong come to find out my son has a skin infection which is where the swelling came from. So after taking the first dose of the antibiotics his swelling has improved.

I've expressed my thanks already but if it wasn't for Jeff my wife would have definitely been a very mad mommy in the ER so once again brother thanks bro.
And this guys and gals is what makes this family awesome. We all talk, and we all help each other no matter the situation wether you're a new parent and nervous about what's going on, needing advice for a dire situation that someone else has gone through, got something on your mind that you need to talk about or even just to bs it is stuff that makes our family so great. Well guys I hope to see ya around the xbox. Once again Jeff thank you brother.
