The fact that he's a cheater and that he doesn't win anymore is probably what's driving them to make the move they did.

In reality, who wants to associate themselves with a potential cheater (future possibly) and be associated with someone who isn't bring profit due to their lack of performance on the course.

Now, we all know we all make mistakes and its not like he's playing like shit in tournaments but when it comes to the pockets of investors.

They want to make moves now which will hopefully help them when it comes to future endeavors.

They could also play the stats field.

Probably noticing a slight decline from last years game from the game before and are speculating that this year might have an even more decline in sales.

So when you say cheater you do mean in his personal life correct? I've never heard any report of him cheating performance wise. He's won plenty of tournaments and placed well recently, he just hasn't won any majors lately.

Yeah the 'ball spotting' issue from earlier this year. He took his penalties though which wasn't much.
