Just ordered a Vita

I can't wait to get it. I got the Walking Dead edition from Walmart. It's $200, same price as a regular Vita, and comes with the Walking Dead game and a 4gb memory card. I ordered a bundle though for just $210, that gets you that Vita, plus an accessory to hold the Vita up, and a game. I chose Assassin's Creed III Liberation. Plus, I have been using Plus for the last 6 months or so, and saving the games for the Vita (just set to download and then cancel it, so it says "download" instead of "purchase". It will be available to download as long as you have Plus.). So I have those games that I can download and play, but I will have to pick and choose since 4gb won't hold them all. Gamestop will have 8 gb memory cards for $10 starting at midnight on Black Friday so I am going to try to scoop that up.

Also, if you are reading this, Gamestop will have 1 year Plus Memberships for $30 on Black Friday.

Are you like me, and have a PS+ membership, but not a PS4,,,,at least not yet. Well don't forget that you can set the PS4 games to download from the Sony store online or from the PS App on Android and iOS. That way you will have those game to play whenever you do finally get that PS4, and still have PS+ of course. Right now you can get Resogun and Contrast.

Great tips. I have done the trick of starting and canceling on PS3 to save drive space. Good to know this will work for snagging the PS4 games before upgrading.

Well I got my Vita a few weeks ago now, and for those on the PS side of things, sorry I haven't been online much. I have been playing in the Vita, and it's been a blast. I got Assassin's Creed Liberation as a free game, and picked up Killzone Mercenary on Black Friday and it has been a blast. I am really enjoying it, especially letting my wife watch TV, and I get to game on it. Or playing it during commercial breaks when we watch the football game.

And nothing beats a goofy unboxing video to go with it.

Killzone Mercenary and Uncharted: Golden Abyss are must buys for the vita I love playing them on mine

Beat Golden Abyss already thanks to Plus. Was the first game I downloaded because I love the Uncharted series. Playing Gravity Rush, along with the two purchased games now. Great games. My son is loving playing All-Star Brawl on it. He is obsessed with that game.

Mercenary is great. It is a full fledged Killzone game on the Vita. I have yet to jump on mp, but I hear it is just as good. I am just playing the campaign to try to unlock more guns and gear before I jump online. It is really well done though. Sorry to say that it was $20 on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Be on the look out though. Others may put it on sale again. It is a steal at $20 if you enjoy FPS.
