Or pc/ps3 prefix....what is your favorite primary weapon in BF4?

I am torn between the Scar H (used it in almost every game since Rainbow Six) or the ACE 23.

So I wanted to see if maybe I am missing out on some fun guns and find out what others like

I don't have a favorite yet. I have OCD when it comes to weapons. I start with the default weapon, and unlock everything for it before I move onto the next. It keeps it interesting as I have a goal to work to, and a new weapon to use every so many weeks. In BF3, I made it through all the medic and engineer weapons. I was about 1/2 through support, and was only 3 rifles in on sniper. :censored:

So with that said, out of the 4 default rifles, I like the engineer MX4, and the P226 pistol. I've been tearing it up with the pistol!

I'm horrible on PC on foot...I do not like the SCAR-H. My favorite so far is probably the default LMG. I forget what it's called.

On BF3, my favorites were (by class) Assault: M416, Support M27, Recon M417, Engineer ACW-R, Shotgun 870MCS. (I did the same thing on BF3 as Iron. Had 1 AR left, 1 LMG, finished Carbines, and was about halfway through snipers, PDWs, and Shottys)

I ran the ACE 23 with Coyote (RDS) Tri beam laser Heavy barrel and Stubby grip my accuracy got better with a few matches but my KDR was getting worse (had a 5 kill 20 deaths match) and I was having a hard time finishing a kill kept getting lots of assists.


Decided on the Scar H with a PKA-S (1x) Tri beam laser R2 suppressor angled grip and started getting more kills and because out of habit I aim center mass the slight verticle climb has resulted in more head shots and a better KDR in matches.

I've been running Round with the 249 and p90. 249 work well but I've been sucking with all the engineer weapons.

Scar H with ACOG and cantilevered sights. Plus the M416 but I haven't got to far into the unlocks for it though.

New favorite AEK-971 with Kobra (RDS) Muzzle Break laser sight and Angled grip

I haven't unlocked much of anything yet, but I'm liking the AK-12 w/ PK-A, suppressor, and laser sight. Just started using it with the suppressor last night and although I didn't really like many suppressed weapons in BF3, this one I like.

I've spent so much time swapping back and forth between weapons to find one I like.... It's been rough.
