It better be coming quick, I heard it dusted in Seattle so the city is closed. We were speed to get a couple inches last night and got nothing. Lame!

We got two inches. I'm still going to work, though.

Oh sweet, does this mean it's time for more vids of buses sliding down hills in a slow uncontrolled and hilarious fashion?

We've had a few inches on the east coast already. I'm not looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

Keep it! I don't mind it if I've got nowhere to be, otherwise it's a pain in the ass

It took me an hour to get home when it normally takes 15 mins because there was a 6 car pile up.

Lol that's how it was the night I went to see the Hobbit, roads weren't touched by a plow. Took me an hour for a 20 min drive on the highway

Took me and Klaws 1.5 hrs to drive 10 miles. I love snow, I just wish PA was better at clearing the roads. Especially the big hills near me. It's like they wait for it to be over and then do something. We still have a few inches. Maybe it will last to Xmas

Cal Trans is really good about plowing with one exception that caused me to to a 360 down the highway. But its that CHP doesn't close the road soon enough and there's always accidents. Then they have to be pricks about it when you live a 100 ft past where he is sitting.

Snow sucks for the commute, took 2.5 hrs to get 26 miles (normally ~45 mins with normal rush hour traffic) last Tuesday and that was with literally only a couple inches.
...but on the other hand, when it snowed on Friday night/Saturday morning this past weekend, I was able to get out on Sat morning before the plows had hit any of the smaller roads or parking lots and holy shit it was the most fun I've had in a long time.
They're talking about this area getting hit again on Sunday except this time with a mix. I'd much rather have regular snow as opposed to wintry mix followed by freezing overnight.
The Groundhog's Day blizzard of 2010 or whatever it was, that was freaking awesome. Thundersnow, people literally trapped in their subdivisions for days, utter chaos in the city with NO ONE being able to get their cars through the residential streets (there were like 20 people on every street corner trying frantically to wave down cabs), fights over parking spots that people spent hours clearing out only to get jacked....
Snow can be entertaining. I miss snowboarding too.
