College courses

So I'm thinking about taking some online courses, I really don't want to have to deal with taking the gen ed classes because honestly I hate math, and English but I guess I have to do what I have to do right? So I'm thinking history being my major since that is my passion. Any ideas on what else I should take?

That's such a massively loaded question, lol. I'd suggest sitting down with an advisor and planning out required courses towards a specific degree.

You dont need TA to go, just do what I'm doing. Even though after this class i'm gonna either take a leave of absence or leave the school because my schedule coming up is fucking amazing... thank you Marine Corps haha

My suggestion is to go to the college you want to go to and talk to the counselor tell them your situation. You may want to go in and apply for every financial aid you can that the school provides. I would go to community get your GE out of the way and get your classes to transfer to a Uni. Just make sure the counselor doesnt feed you a bunch of bs like mine did if you have any questions let me know.

Just a small piece of advice, if what you dislike about English is the writing, getting a history major is basically writing weekly papers for two years.

Did the Marines lose TA? I would just do FAFSA bro. Pell grants are cake to apply for and you owe nothing in return.

Also if you hate math theres www.mathway.com. 7$ a month for answers and solutions for everything up to Calculus.

Justin, are you planning on getting out? if not take something you enjoy as a major but have a little management sprinkled in for senior promotion considerations. If you are going to get out and go for a career in the big bucks go with these three degrees Electrical Engineer, BS Information Technology, Medical degree either PA or Practicing RN. The money is there. i have a BSIT and it serves me well. Due to the fact you hate math the EE might not fit you well but all are science based and you have to take some math.

Yup I get paid 700$ a class and I take 1 class at a time every 8 weeks

I used math way as well lol all the way thru calc 2 lol it's a great program and even shoes you most solutions it's not that helpful for trig though.... And integrals it's useless

yea ive looked into careers in that field, im still awhile away from getting out, but i wouldnt mind at least getting my degree the main one im thinking about focusing on is, Technical Management with an information security major.
