Shit I'm active duty and still never carried anything other than a M16. My last unit just got M4's but there was no need for me to get once since I was PCSing.

Same here, all though I did have TCN duty on a deployment, and since I was the only one in my unit to show proficiency with the M9, I had to carry that. Never carried anything awesome on duty though.
