Definitely join a squad and play with a group. It is much more fun that way. If you are USW, go on Connery server. If you are USE, go on Emerald server. If you are EU, go on Miller server. Tell me which server you are on and I can help you get in touch with the right people.

Vanu Sovereignty = enlightenment and long range

Terran Republic = teamwork and rapid fire weapons

New Conglomerate = freedom and powerful guns (shotgun galore)

I just tried it and it was quite fun. I'll have to check what server and faction I am - don't remember.
